Half-decent base building, good overall world, interesting enough storyline, and it's nice to be playing in a world with others. Overall a solid entrant to survival games with some neat twists, looking forward to seeing where they take it over time.

A nice twist on the survival genre, only started out so far but enjoying it. The world is different enough to be surprising, while still being very similar to other survival crafting games. Recommend, worth the money, and am looking forward to setting up my new home here ;)

Pokemon meets Valheim, or something. It's good ;) Looking forward to seeing how the game develops over time, but it's already great fun. Would be great multiplayer

Excellent storyline and over-arching game design, great xcom-like battles, just a heap of fun to play. Highly recommend.

I should say more about this ;)

The storyline as it unfolds is interesting - the cast of characters has me curious. I'm still near the start, so things are unfolding slowly and I'm keen to find out when I get some more people joining my team.

The battles are well executed - environment has a good impact with the ability to blow things up, leave fire on the ground, etc. Missions are fairly repetitive and there's a bit of grind (repeating missions) involved, but not too bad, and enjoyable regardless.

Base building takes the form of small improvements to your office (so far) and large customisation for your characters - there is a skill system in here that's got a lot of built-in variety and I can see taking some time to find a mix of skills per character and across the group that works well.

I'm slightly uncomfortable with the "you're assisting the police" aspect given current politics in the US in particular, but outside that the world and storyline is engaging enough.

Oh, and the ability to assign auto behaviour to the police squad assisting - basically go "you all follow me and attack anyone I attack" or "go explore" or similar - is nice, and works reasonably well - I find myself auto'ing a lot, but taking control when I really care.

Overall, a really nice addition to the genre with a few new tricks, and a storyline that has me wanting to do "just one more" mission to try and unlock the next discovery...

(Edit: I saw someone refer to this as a "hidden gem" and it absolutely is - for a small dev studio to turn out something so much fun and so well polished, they deserve it to be a huge success. So if it's not clear from the above, I strongly recommend picking this up if you enjoy xcom-style games at all ;)
