Ambitious, Clunky, Dark, Brutal, and Beautiful. This is an eclectic game that is mostly an RPG but crosses into other potential genres, such as base building and strategy. This probably sounds strange without context and it is. Kenshi's unique Westworld like mechanics and world make it possible to approach this game from many angles. The game is definitely wonky at times, but it can make it really fun in that Dwarf Fortress/Rimworld sort of way. Really difficult and dense, but stick it out and you quickly pick it up. There's really no better way to learn than to just start, play, and don't worry if you die/do poorly.
