Was a very promising title for about a month. Unfortunately devs haven't been able to build on the initial success. Game is very poorly balanced, lots of weapons that are useless and lots of weapons that you pretty much have to take to get through some missions. Devs will usually end up nerfing the overused weapons while neglecting the underused, making the whole experience pretty unfun.
Add on top of that the massive amount of glitches and crashes and the game feels pretty unpolished in general
Also, starting june 6 2024 this game will require a PSN account, which requires you to send your real life ID or facial scan to sony, as well as numerous invasive data scraping including key logging and steam diagnostic information included in sony's TOS. In addition, if you live in a country where PSN is not available, then you can't play

But for real this game is highly predatory and p2w, with an in-game economy that punishes you for not subscribing to premium by taking in game currency away from you after each game, making in practically impossible to progress in the mid to late game. Combine that with pay to win overpowered premium vehicles, mangled balancing in the mid to late tiers, and a grind that slows progression down to a crawl, even with premium, I would strongly recommend against getting into this game until the developers decide to change their ways, lest you get sucked into an addictive money-pit like I and so many others have

Quite easily the biggest waste of time ive ever played, its fun, and when it’s fun it’s very fun, but it’s only fun maybe 20% of the time you are playing, the other 80% of this game is spent in 5+ minute loading screens that may just become infinite loading screens that come with every change of location, making even going into your house a dice roll of having to restart the game and going through the 10+ minute long first loading screen, then you have to deal with the random disconnects that always seem to happen at the worse possible times for seemingly no reason other than rockstar despite making the most successful game series of all time refuses to pay for actual servers and instead uses a peer to peer system that is as reliable as you’re dads 1986 General Motors ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ compact car, you have to deal with random glitches that seem to plague the game for years like missions not starting, missions not ending, with the solution to many of these glitches is to go through more possibly infinite loading screens.
Oh and the hackers, this game is full of hackers and rockstar takes absolutely real no action against them, every single session you have a 99.9% chance of running into some fat lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lard with hacks that decides to ruin you’re day and make this game that is already buggy enough on its own virtually unplayable, its insane how much hackers can do to this game, they can delete your cars, teleport you wherever they want, even kick you or crash your game, some hacks even have tools to evade reports, and rockstar does nothing against the developers of these mods that ruin the game for everyone else, but when someone figures out how harmlessly glitch themselves a couple mil and threaten rockstars micro transaction money then they are very prompt in wiping your account and patching the glitch

Oh story mode is cool I guess so buy it for that, but you could probably get a used console copy for way cheaper
