Worked for 4 hours and then an unnecessary update to the 3rd party drm bricked the game.

Ubisoft shut down their phone lines and then when you try to open an online support ticket to resolve the issue, it forces you to make an account. Fine, I'll log in with one of their integrated logins (xbox, twitch, etc). Too bad, you give them your data and then they still ask you to make a separate account. What's the point of the integrations if you're just gonna make me turn over my email anyways!??!?!??!?

What happened to paying for things and then the thing works without the sisyphean task of ensuring that updates don't brick them without warning?

Ironically, I have never encountered a more sound endorsement for p1racy than the fact that I tried to buy this game about pirates the right way and now it just straight up doesn't work. I'd laugh if I wasn't so miffed.
