I bought the game after I saw the movie. I'm glad they didn't use all of the anomalies in the movie so I could get a challenge out of the game. For the asking price it's worth it.

It's an ok zombie, simple survival mechanics similar to This War of Mine. For the asking price it's good for a couple of hours. I might give it another try if and when it comes out in 1.0

I'm surprised we had not 1, but 2 awesome games that weren't sequels or remakes. I'm talking about Expedition 33 and this gem.

The story simple, but great. Games don't need stories that make the main character bigger than life and most of the time they fail, simple is better. The quests and side quests were a joy to play and trying to figure out the outcome before it happened.

The world had an interesting design, but not much to talk about a barren world.

The gameplay/mechanics were fun. This is a base management well done. Yes, you have timers, but you can have an alter do the tasks while you do other tasks or explore the world. Loved the different modules in the game especially the social and gamer's den.

This game made me want more. I want a bigger and better version of this game. I want more content, more quests and more side quests, more alters. Maybe actually colonizing a planet or something of the sort. I'm looking forward tot them improving upon this concept since this game woke up something in me and it needs nourishment.

I recommend this full price or on a sale, it's worth the asking price and way better than other AAA games that released in 2025 for 70-80$.

This game just like Shadowrun Returns has been siting in my library since 2018. Played Shadowrun Returns for about 6 hours, that was enough to see that even a minute more invested in this series is wasted. Don't recommend these games, go buy Pillars 1 or Pathfinder Kingmaker.

This game has been siting in my library since 2018. Finally decided to give it a try since it's a short game based on how long to beat. Trying this game was a huge mistake. After waiting for 6 hours for the combat and story to get good I decided this is a good point to stop since it will never get good.

The combat is garbage. I would miss point blank with a shotgun and no debuffs is insane. The weapons are your normal militaristic weapons for a game that prides itself with having cyberpunk elements. Equipping new weapons or items will not go in the order you want them, the game will decide the order and you have to accept it.

The story started interesting then got dumb as time went on. It almost feels like the writers got bored midway through writing the story and decided to come up with some garbage and call it a day.

If the first game in this series is like this then I don't want to touch the other 2.

Don't waste your money on this, buy and play Pillars 1 (don't bother with 2) or get Pathfinder Kingmaker.

My copy pasted review from the normal version of the game.
Cool little game, nice visuals, but it has god awful controls. You want to jump one way and somehow it goes another way. The controls made me stop playing this game.

I got this game from a humble bundle and I don't regret not buying it outright since that would have been a huge mistake.

The story, if you can call it that, is uninspired and bland while it tries to appear 'deep' and 'thoughtful'. All it ever does is gather a bunch of cliches, mix them up and present that hot turd on a silver plater. The story barely stays with the 'main' point long enough to make you care. I think they tried too much, spread the focus too thin on all of the aspects and barely presented anything for far too long for you as the player to care. I for one couldn't care less about their home planet, the virus that was affecting them, I didn't understand why they had a fight between the council members and I couldn't care less.

The combat is as shallow as it can be. What you do 30 minutes in is the same thing you do 3 hours in, spam light attacks and dodging. Wish they had the possibility to do jump attacks on the head of the enemies, but that would be to complex for this game.

The upgrades for traversal came too late into the game, looking at you double jump. Maybe I have been blessed by other games and how seamless those upgrades come that it felt like I was always missing something in this game. I guess the game slowly gives you the traversal upgrades since they exploration is absolute garbage and there is nothing to see and gather.

I don't recommend this game even on a sale. Go buy Hollow Knight and ignore this.

It's an ok game on sale, but not full price.

The campaign is okayish, but feel rushed in the later missions. It feels like they took the time to present all the mechanics, units and building pieces and somewhere down the line they realized that they should end the story in 3 missions. Wish it was a bit more fleshed out and had more missions to learn about the story.

There are a few units and the diversity is nonexistent. For a game about humanity on the brink of extinction it amazes me that humans haven't come up with all types of weird weapons to fight back.

The building isn't amazing and the diversity in pieces is meh. The support system is annoying combined with the so little pieces it makes it a bad time trying to build some interesting structures.

Cool idea to come back to the zombie infested world and help the survivors rebuild the world.

The so called campaign feels a bit short, the missions are over before you even realize you are actually playing the game. Maybe this picks up in the later missions, this is my experience after playing the first 3 missions.

The UI is horrible, the first game felt more polished while this one is clunky as hell.

Maybe with the 1.0 they will fix the UI and work a little on the missions, but as right now this is a maybe, not good but not bad.
