Every Abnormality may not have a reason to exist, but they all have a will to persist.

This game is called Lobotomy Corporation. It comes forth at you like a tide that threatens to ensnare your sanity, your joy, the last vestiges of your humanity, as you will inevitably wonder: Will this all be worth it? Will my suffering cease to end? When I see the final beacons of light, how far yet do I have to go?

The grim, dismal storyline offers you no solace, as you try to fight this tide, to push against it, to rewrite your own narrative. The endless resets, the fleeting excitement to almost finish a mission only to have it all thwarted by your own carelessness, the unfairness as your employee, who could probably rival God, inevitably dies trying to handle a piece of metal, all these culminate what can only be described as a transcendental experience.

When I look back on my journey to achieve the Lobotomy Corporation True Ending, I'm not going to think about the pain I went through, the micromanagement I endured, the steps I so meticulously planned out falling apart in front of my eyes. I'm going to think about the fun I had slowly chipping away at each and every Abnormality, I'm going to remember the small pockets of light-hearted conversation with the Sephirot, I'm going to remember the feeling I felt, when I finally, at long last, reached the ending for the very first time.

Lobotomy Corporation can only be described as an ever-encroaching tide. You can choose to fight it, to dive into it and seek the greatest rewards, or you can simply choose to ignore it, to let it pass by you, to just give up. And, of course, that is understandable. This game is not for everyone, and some may even feel that it has no reason to exist. But to those who have persisted, to those who are persisting, and to those who are picking this game for the very first time: Good luck, manager, and well done for making it this far.

I rate this game a perfect 10/10.
