The best janitorial emulation I've ever played.

Jokes aside, what originally attracted to me to Dustforce was a feeling that something was missing from Super Meat Boy, something that the game didn't seem to quite capture or address. It was difficult, but in a way that let me put it down and step away from it, knowing I could always come back at a later date and defeat it. The music was good, but I don't know that I could hum a tune from it right now. The level design was well thought out, but often times only allowed for one method of play.

Dustforce takes every one of these (admittedly small) complaints and addresses them: the technical skills required to beat some of the levels that ensure you can't set it down and come back to it without having to remaster things, the decision to design the game from the get-go with speed-running in mind, and a soundtrack that is as catchy as it is lovely...the list goes on and on.

Without gushing on for too long about it, I recommend Dustforce as highly as I can recommend anything, provided that you know what you want in a platformer. This game will be hard and it will be unforgiving, assuming you attempt to play it at the highest level. The level design will keep pulling you back in, making you wonder if you could have shaved off a second or two by doing this loop slightly differently. The technical skill required will make you consider purchasing a keyboard that actually works (Apple keyboards are now my chief complaint with Apple computers). In short, if mountains were video games, Everest almost compares to Dustforce.

Watchdog Man is a young-looking man with a blank and uninterested look on his face. He dresses in a full-body dog suit with a red collar, with his face showing where the dog's mouth should be.

Watchdog Man has been shown to be very blunt and nonchalant, and he always displays a stoic and unbothered expression on his face. He also has a habit of wearing his costume all the time, even keeping it on when he bathes.[5] His table manners are also bad since he eats like a dog and is never seen using a fork or spoon. He acts like a dog at all times, speaking sparingly, sitting on his haunches while alert or loitering, and curling up in a dog bed while asleep. He takes a stance on all fours while fighting, rather than standing upright to confront enemies.
