Unless you got a NASA pc, don't even bother.

People are willing to excuse a lot of behavior, but if with the best GFX card on the market you can't at least hit 30 fps when running with the highest settings, that ain't okay.

yes most of my life in the last few years has been somewhat dedicated to this game. Long story short: devs are trying to respond to recent backlash with somewhat big bugfix patches, however it should have never gotten to this point. While I truly still enjoy the game, over time with each release my opinion of paradox has gotten worse and worse.

Recently I introduced a friend to the game and he has been playing it more and more, we started mp games and suddenly the realization hit me when I was explaining some stuff to him and he said that he did not have like 80% of some of the really basic features in the game that should NOT be DLC-exclusive (I have all the DLC.... yes paradox fooled me properly... I'm a clown) and my friend had none at the time. I made a list for him for truly necessary DLC's to get the game to somewhat of 'not-annoying' state for him... that list was longer and more expensive than expected.

So, while I really wanna recommend the game (and I still am), HUGE DISCLAIMER: do NOT expect a full game with just the base game and so I wanna say buy on sale in general.

Cities Skylines is like everything a (fanatic) city-builder wants to see in a game. With DLC still incoming we can expect a lot from the company for sure! Although it could be benefitial to have a PC that can handle a pretty heavy game like this one.

Pros:

- Wide range of mods and CC being made in the community for improving your city.
- Will not get boring even after I don't know how much play time. (I have like 200 hours at the moment)
- All the different kind of aspects of managing like: traffic, RCI and so on, are actually pretty challenging sometimes which keeps it more fun to play.
- All the details are amazing and to see everything moving is just wonderful!
- The huge area to build on is just a reason alone to buy this game.

Cons:

- A good PC is needed if you want to play this game (with mods) without too many problems or lag.

But in the end you will have a beautiful city to look at!
