This DLC is worth the money. It adds a huge campaign with hours of gameplay. I bought it immediately and I recommend the same. I thank CA for giving new life to my favourite game.

The non-existent issue:
Most bad reviews are for the "disappearing models" issue. Guys listen:
The disappearing models issue that everyone is experiencing is a conflict with old mods, whch CA said repeatedly: Delete all mods and verify / reinstall the game! Delete, not just deactivate. The game works fine!

The real issues:
1) Some Shield Patterns Are Still Missing!
The initially missing Hoplite patterns are fixed, but the dacian shields ones are missing.

2) Scipio Africanus' age in Hannibal At The Gates
So Scipio Africanus was the Roman general who won the second punic war and he was 18 years old in 218 BC. Someone messed this up. It was correct in patch 17 but now someone mixed the father and the son in one character and Africanus is now 42 years old.

Here I made a mod that fixes these problems until CA releases a hotfix:

Raziel Yea I know right? Good thing they saw it. I think they just missed these shield patterns because the same problem happened to the hoplites and they fixed those before release.

Also, the other complain about the punic culture... yeah I lurked about in the database and it's not a bug (and so it's not "fixable") because it belongs to the "hellenic" culture branch so yeah.

lol I dont know how I completely missed the part about shield patterns bug. I just read your 2 other complaints and commented. While these arent a big deal to me even the shield patterns missing bug but I do understand how it might anger someone who is really into history.

Also its great that CA listened to you its not often you see devs replying to steam reviews

The purpose of the negative review was exactly to draw a developer's attention for the issues, so now that this is done, yes of course I will be changing my review to positive. Thank you.

Hey Scipio, I'll pass your feedback on to the devs so that we can try and rectify the issues in a future patch/hotfix. Hope you're enjoying the DLC and consider changing your review

Raziel because ahield textures should really not be missing from a game that costs 60€ and a dlc that costs 16€.

if you can make a mod to fix your 'complaints' then why bother giving a down vote? also carthage isnt a real culture now so ca isnt offending anyone with small errors like this

Damn people are really dumb - the DLC is connected to the main game and so is the other DLC so really by fixing these issues you are helping the health of the ENTIRE game.

Thumbs up.

Hey Benjin. Yeah, you were the one who brought that one into my attention for the first time actually!

I hate that they didn't fix this one. And this one in particular is very annoying because it needs to edid the startpos in order to be fixed so the fix won't be compatible with mods that use the starpos... it's messed up!

Yep, I can confirm this as well - I reported the same issues you mentioned above on the forums, especially the Publius Cornelius Scipio father being replaced with Africanus mistake.
