I still wish there was a middle ground option between "Recommending" and "Not recommending" as there are good things here but also bad things or at least questionable. I like how much variety and options you have when it comes to modding, arsenal, warframes and whatnot and how much control you have over your character and movement options that are in place. Some quests and storylines are good but some get whack as hell and just don't make sense, mostly newer ones from what I can remember.

While I understand it is Free-to-play and that platinum is the thing that brings income (I suppose), when it comes to people who don't want to or simply can't spend on the game, let me pose a scenario:

You want to make this prime warframe, you need 3 blueprints for the pieces and a blueprint for the frame. You don't have all the ingredients you need to make it so you spend ages opening relics and hope you get what you needed. This can take not that much time if you get lucky a lot but you likely will be there for hours. Now you must make these 3 items and each need different resources found around the planets in navigation which is simple enough but is also time-consuming. Finally, you have all you need to build them but what's this? You have to wait 12-24 hours for each piece to finish crafting. Imagine if you didn't build them all at once! You come back after waiting, you collect them and begin building the frame itself but what's this now? You must wait 3 DAYS for it to finish crafting!

A few days ago there was a survey when I exited the game that said something along the lines of "Do you feel the developers respect your time invested into the game?" I had to say no for reasons like above.

Point is, not one person I know of has ever said they enjoy waiting and doing nothing in any case. I want to play now, not in 4 days. They could shorten the waiting time for many things drastically and I'm sure people would still use platinum to buy skins or skip waiting times even then. I mean crafting a Zaw takes an hour after getting the needed resources so why can't that be the same for everything else? Personally I think this is reason enough to not invest time into this game, it will start fast and you will progress quickly to begin with but it will grind to a halt eventually. I will continue because I already invested so much time and I do enjoy it but only in moderation these days. I played for hours each day when I first started, now I might play once a week, maybe more but I might not touch it for months. The grind and waiting around is what ruins things for me. I don't like WF nor do I dislike WF, I just don't care that much.
