People give this game a negative review for the paid mods and poor dlc. The paid mods are there for people who are not comfortable using nexus mods, but nexus mods still work if that's what you prefer and are willing to micro manage them to keep your game from failing (managing load orders and such).

Why aren't people giving reviews for the core game content here? All I see is people griping about the dlc and updates. Yes, it's true that some of the dlc is lackluster *cough* 58gb retexture pack *cough*, and the season pass is too expensive in my opinion, but leave those negative reviews over in the review page FOR THE DLC, NOT in here for the core game. The game is fun.

A good buy. I never played H1Z1: King of the Kill but from what I've heard from friends, PUBG is way better and I can believe it. It's a good game, with my only real complaint being the optimization. I have had a couple crashes due to insufficient memory (I have 16gb ram) and one crash to desktop. I can play GTAV, Witcher 3, and other high end games all on ultra maxed settings, but for this game I need to lower the graphics and not have any internet browsers open in order to avoid memory related crashing.

Overall, I'd recommend it. It's a neat experience that is simple in form, yet each match differs from the last. Once they improve optimization for the game, and I believe they will, it will be just that much better.

TL;DR: Buy the game, it's werf.
