I won, but at what cost?

I decided to buy this game after my buddy kept streaming it for me. It lived up to the hype he gave it.

First thing I did? Build a tank with a 10m cannon, name it "Sin against nature" and watch as it rips everything apart in one shot.

I had fun with this game, but I have to give a negative review. Having more than one season pass for a game is not something to support. Enough with the cash grabs, stop giving us indie game levels of content when we don't pay indie game levels of price.

I bought season pass one. The amount of content seemed like a scam. Not to mention a DLC which include usually include a new gun, some skins and other items you won't use are extremely overpriced.

I cannot support business practices like this. Save your money. Wait for a price drop or at least 50% off.

I asked my friend to time me and see how long I'd live when I started my charge. I lasted 2 seconds. Historically accurate.

Are they good on their own? Yes. Do they mix well? Not really

Its like the exorcist. If the demon had a massive party. And an angry priest with guns went around ripping their heads off.

Wanted to enjoy this game but I just couldn't. The camera shook like there was an earthquake all the time and it was quite nauseating. I also found the AI would target me specifically even when there would be a group of soldiers with me.
Enemies were also able to take 2 bullets from a bolt action rifle. Weirdest feeling to shoot a guy in the chest with a K98 and have him still shoot back. If this was for fully automatic weapons I would let it slide
Controls were a bit harder to get the hang of, but once you get it you can make it work
There are better WW2 games, but this one is definitely not the worst

There I was on my canon firing on the French for King George himself. I then hear the theme from Mission Impossible randomly play, surely something seemed off. I looked over and saw 2 Frenchmen sneaking towards me. Thinking quickly I grabbed my musket and fired at them, killing one. The other returns fire and misses. The following exchange takes place.
"I see you there Frenchman, the Lord wants one of us to die"
"♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ oooooff, noooooooooooooo"
I reload my musket and fire at him, he screams as loud as possible into his mic as he dies. I have seen everything now.

When Assassin's Creed Origins first came out I said to myself "Imagine if they remade Black Flag with these mechanics. That would be amazing" my wish was somewhat granted with some cameos from The Witcher and Shadow of Mordor. Although this doesn't feel like an Assassin's Creed game at times they did a really good job at making a game before the brotherhood was even formed. My biggest complaint however is when boarding an Athenian or Spartan ship your wanted level will rise absurdly for killing while boarding forcing you to either let your crew do the killing or have a level 3 bounty after one ship. A few freezing bugs during cutscenes will also break the immersion and become frustrating. However this game is worh picking up even at full price.

Game is great if you can get it to work. Unfortunately, the game doesn't launch a good amount of the time.
