Excellent SNES to PS1-style RPG. It heavily borrows elements from Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Xenogears, Suikoden and more. It does a great job emulating the design philosophies of these older games while introducing modern conveniences.

You do occasionally feel that the dialogue has the same "voice" and they are sometimes overzealous with overturning the player's expectations, but it is a great feat from a single person developer.

The difficulty is steady until the very end of the game, since as of this review, agility is overpowered (similar to other classics). There are also some bugs related to saving in setpiece areas that you need to be careful of.
