Welcome to the Official Samiles737 steam profile.

Here is some info about me!

I am a Thameslink train driver. I drive class 319's, 387's, 377's and 700's. I have been a Thameslink driver for 1 year now and enjoying everyday of train driving as it comes!!!!

I've have always dreamed of driving trains and a year ago, my dream came true. I have autism but that doesn't change the person I am inside and outside of me.

In my artwork, you will probably see some train timetable diagrams. Those are used to set up trains, run a schedule on time and to know what train I'm driving on that day.
Under the Thameslink regulations, I am not allowed to show you what my driver number is.

Also, you will see some cab pictures. These cab pictures are taken only when I am at work and when I am stationary at a station. Again, under Thameslink regulations, I am not allowed to take pictures of the cab WHILE
the train is in motion. If you have any questions about what I have just said, please don't hesitate to ask me and I will get back to you as quickly as possble.

Requests:

If you have any cab picture ideas, just ask me and I will try to do my best with your suggestion.

If you have any questions in general, please feel free to ask me and I will answer them as best as I can.

My favourite train I drive has to be either a 387 or a 377 but it
doesn't mean to say I don't like driving the class 700 or 319. I just like driving the 387's and 377's a little bit more than others.

Having train driving technics is always the best. So if you would like any tips from me, feel free to ask me.

Feel free to add me, but any foul/profane behaviour and I shan't hesitate to remove you.

Is the london to Bedford service DOO (Driver Only Operation) or is it some trains/shifts as I was wondering.

Hi MattyTCraps. In answer to your question, 377's normally go around 30-35 mph into stations. It all depends on how many coaches you have, the weather and how busy it is.

I have a question, what mph do 377s generally enter stations when they're going to stop?
