This is the first Souls game I've played all the way through and it's incredible. At first I thought the graphics were garbage, but they just keep getting more amazing as you play through. In a way it felt like a reward for not giving up. Absolutely recommend if you're willing to roll with the punches... the many, many punches, stabs, kicks, and eviscerations.

Haven't played too much yet, but I really like it. I was nervous when I first launched it but the second time I checked and used the Launch Confgiuration Tool option which allowed me to change the resolution and read the controls. There are menus that are more difficult to use with only a controller but it is all possible after some experimentation. Turns out on the xbox 360 controller i was able to hold down the start button to enable the cursor and then move the cursor to the equip menu tabs. That's the worst of it but it can be much more easily handled with the mouse for menus and controller for most gameplay. Anyways, it seems really interesting so far.

Brilliant game with some amazing pixel art. Easy recommendation.
