So, I have been playing this game on and off since 2016. Seven years, and you know what every time i come back its better. And i got to say not only do i enormously respect the work this team has put in to do that but i really feel this is one of the best games out there. There is so much customisation in the settings that you can be a one man army or a frightened child. How hard you want to die is up to you and i absolutely love the multiplayer. Now thats not to say its perfect, there is a little bit of jank you got to figure out and you will end up on the wiki a few times but i miss when games were complex enough to need a manual.

In short give it a try, its better with friends but if you wanna go it solo there is no shame in making it a bit easier.
