You ever watch those mobile game ads that go from 0 to 100 with the progression, and you're just like, "there is absolutely no way they have that much content"? Well, this game actually does go from 0 to 100...to like, 10000. Okay, so what's the issue? Isn't that a good thing? Well, the issue is that I have ADHD, and while this game was damn captivating enough to make me play 6 straight hours uninterrupted on my first session, this inadvertently resulted in me not having eaten anything for 19 hours straight. I started playing this game on Saturday. It's Tuesday now, and I've already logged 23 hours, and I'm supposed to be preparing for a move that expedites two days from today. I've never done crack, but I'm convinced it couldn't do any worse to me than this game will. I have goals. I have dreams. I have a job. I want a girlfriend. I need my friends. I need to eat. I need sleep. But this game...it's...so...good...maybe just one more hour before I go to bed...oh, it's 5am. Might as well play another hour, right? For your own sake, DO NOT OPEN THIS GAME.

The one and only game so far that's actually motivated me to go for 100% completion. As an avid SCP fan with ADHD, this game felt like home. My only wish was that this could've directly overlapped and/or even expanded into a full-blown SCP universe

Indie game developer that is mod-friendly, not greedy, and has delivered a finished product at release. 10/10

Been following this game for 3½ years—it's reaching 4½ years in age and still in early access. We were told the game would be practically complete by the time I hit my 2-year mark, and a year and a half later, still no sign of it. Devs are practically just milking this at this point.

I actually thought this game was about playing as some kind of ghost looking to get revenge. 10/10 would ♥♥♥♥ up expectations again.

For anyone having trouble starting the game:

My system: i7-6700HQ, SSD (main), HDD (storage/Steam), Windows 10 Pro, blah blah blah

My OS (C: drive) is on an SSD, but my Steam files are on my HDD (D: drive). Game wouldn't work under administrative access or compatibility settings, so I had my files moved to my C: drive, still didn't work. Checked C:\Users\(myusername)\AppData\Roaming\endless-sky, two folders, no files.

Out of frustration, I opened the .exe properties from the local files, compatibility settings, checked to enable compatibility for Windows 8, checked to disable display scaling, and check administrator access, game finally ran. went back to roaming/endless-sky folder, preferences.txt shows up with:

Exited game, reverted compatibility settings, game still started fine. Moved game files back to D:, again, works fine. My guess is there's some bug with preferences.txt never being initialized properly, so I suspect it should run just fine if you create the file in C:\Users\(myusername)\AppData\Roaming\endless-sky (and paste the settings I listed above) then try starting the game.

Community was getting toxic, so took a year break. Came back, got asked to set up Goyo charges on the new map two matches in, got promptly got banned for 30 minutes, and now I'm back to questioning my life's choices again👍

Don't listen to the reviewers. This game had very good ratings until the recent sale. Shoot, I goat this game and the DLC for around $9 and it's given my nephews a good lol for hours upon hours, so it's a definite thumbs-up from me.

This controller is to gaming as the manual transmission is to cars: the common man will speculate on how the manual isn't "popular" and is "impractical" because of the extra work involved, but we all know he's just a lazy ♥♥♥♥♥. The manual gives more control, is more efficient under good handling, and can be tuned to perfection...an experienced racer would prefer the manual; an experienced gamer would prefer the Steam Controller.
