This is a ripoff of several mobile games and just as predatory

Was terrible on release, only got worse with time from the look of it.

This game is even worse now than when I originally reviewed it, anyone still playing this is the exact sort of bootlicker that's why we can't have nice things as humanity.

Hades 1 was basically a lightning-in-a-bottle masterpiece, and so far this is a worthy sequel. Will update review when I have like 300+ hours or something to let you know for real.

After trying this game again, my duo ran into a single player.

Somehow, this single player had some sort of perk / revive thing that allowed him to come back and fight us over and over again, yet when we died we were just dead. Absolute cancer.

Free "i win" buttons are not good gameplay.

10 years later still the absolute best in the franchise.

Who'd have thought pirates were more interesting than time-shifting assassins?

This is the best £3 I've ever spent on steam ever.

If you like this sort of game, tell me if you know any better than this - I'm not sure there is one.

EOMM Is a cancer that removes fun from games and makes AAA titles functionally identical to mobile games where they have an algorithm tell them exactly the right time to make an ad pop up for the most chance you will buy it.

This is fundamentally the EXACT same game as MW19 (with some of the same bugs, glitches, exploits, and don't forget BLATANT "snap right on to the "you" tag and track it through half the map" wallhackers) - for full price, 4 years later, oh and here's a NEW warzone so you have to re-buy all the cosmetics and blueprints you already either paid for or unlocked, because ♥♥♥♥ you consumer pay us more

Anti-consumer, anti-fun, anti-player money grabbing excercise, and because we all WANT call of duty to be good, we won't stop buying them, so they're gonna keep absolutely ass-blasting us like this forever.


Update: nothing has changed, just like MW2019 everything is a buggy unusable mess for 3 days after any warzone update. EOMM is literal cancer. I hope whoever at activision ok'd this dies of cancerous aids.

Just don't go stealth archer

This game is just some of the most fun you can have for 16 bucks out there

Play it full tactical stealth in proper looking kit, or run around with an M249 in a cow-pattern ghillie with a bright pink bag

Be warned the camera can be janky, but it's a top-down 3d shooter you take what you can get, going into buildings is either painless or pure agony because you can't see yet, no inbetween. Breaching is hilarious, wallbanging stuff is hilarious, flashing enemies then kicking them in the nuts is hilarious - basically the whole game is just good fun

I can only imagine how much better the fun levels will get when modding is added

terrible when it was on bethesda.net launcher, terrible now it's on steam (and you can only use Ranger unless you buy the other ones).

EDIT: I still can't stand the episodic formula. I think it was still nothing more than a corporate greed cash grab.

However, I must re-write this review, because gameplay-wise, this is an incredible game. It's so much fun. Outside of typical silly hitman bugs like NPCs randomly gaining Xray vision, sometimes guards AI is incredible and sometimes they're dumb as hell but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is so much fun.

Whoever decided this game should be episodic needs to be fired, and kept as far away from game development managing as possible, for the rest of their natural life. This could be a 10/10 game but it's not, because they crippled it because they wanted/needed money long before they had a truly finished product, although what little there is to play IS a combination of the best bits of Blood Money featuring the best bits of Absolution, this is utterly ruined by the literally "just for money cash grab" ethics behind the episodic release.


Only reccomended if you're a die hard hitman fan who doesn't mind having to wait an unknown number of months for anything past the first 4 f*cking levels to be released... By the way, if you were hoping on following the story of this game like in Blood Money or Absolution, don't bother spending your money until its finished. Companies don't deserve to get paid for cowboy sh*t like this.
