I played this game for 3 years since launch day. The game runs well but overall it's rubbish. There's a reason even all the top Apex players and streamers consistently state how much they dislike it and only play it because they make money to. If that doesn't tell you enough about it then I don't know what will. If you've never played this and were thinking of giving it a go, save yourself the time and irritation and don't. The company behind it also just want to fleece you of every penny you have for egregiously over priced cosmetics. Why did I play it for so long? Because for a long time it was the only game that ran smoothly with some fast paced gun play but I was consistently hoping for a new game to take me away from it for good. I've since left and now play another game and boy am I happy to finally have left this one behind. Dirt!

I loved the original. Was dying to play this. The reviews weren't great but I thought I'd give it a go a few years after it's release none the less. Game starts out feeling really nice and similar to the original but then you realise how buggy and slow things are. The game felt like a real slog and after something like 3 or 4 years I couldn't believe there were still such silly bugs from years back still lingering in the game. Minions standing around doing nothing stuck in place and no way to move them without just killing them etc. Then how Agents just randomly appear in the base making basically all defence building and planning totally pointless. Some agents that just walk around your base completely freely planting bombs blowing things up while your minions ignore them etc. There's so much to dislike about the entire thing. I just wouldn't recommend it. The gameplay is limited in how much fun you can squeeze out of it and generally it's dull and I found myself having to really push myself to finish it just so I could see everything that happens and even then I was left pretty disappointed.

I wouldn't normally have played city building/management games but in doing so with this I've found a lovely little relaxed game. I have really enjoyed just playing it and playing it again through the various scenarios. It's perfect for something you can have on while you're maybe watching something or doing other things if you're like myself with a very scattered attention span. Really chill and really enjoyable. Worth a go even if you don't play games like this normally. That's how I ended up trying it purely because it was so highly reviewed. Glad I did!

Perfect little relaxing puzzle jaunt. Nothing too complicated and perfect for a relaxed little session.

Put 6-12 months of your life self hating yourself for being so bad or for the fact you're stuck in noob hell for all that time and everyone you're matched with is utter ♥♥♥♥♥, into this little gem. Sure who knows in a year and a half to two years maybe you'll get a consistent amount of enjoyment out of it!
