I went to work for 8 hours today and then came home to logon to bag virtual groceries without a break during my shift while the store manager hit me with a broom. I seriously need to reconsider my life after playing this game. Also, I round up when I give change to make things easier/faster.

Played this game when it first released and it was a great way to hop on with friends for an hour, get scared and have a fun time. With the latest release, it's just a grind fest and no longer a quick way to get the sh-t scared out of you and having fun and just frustrating to play since gear is level locked.

I wish the developers would continue to support this game and add official steamdeck support as it's the most amazing couch co-op experience with 4 players.

This isn't a horror game, this is purely a jumpscare game. There's no real pacing or setting of horror/dread or atmospheric buildup to an appropriate jumpscare. I found myself more annoyed on edge waiting for the next jumpscare rather than any sort of terror/horror of the setting since they were so frequent.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their VR screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

I thought I was a John Wick style badass in this game on Hard... then I turned off aim-assist and discovered I was a blind monkey with arthritis that just got hired as a Stormtrooper to hunt Luke and Han.

The first VR First Person game to not give me motion sickness! Gameplay is incredible and it's a better VR workout than BeatSaber, my arms are very sore from making wide swings and sudden blocks. The fights, even though you are never (so far that I've played) face more than 2 opponents are quite intense and difficult (playing on Relentless) and definitely a more fun challenge than Blade & Sorcery. The synth soundtrack just feels like it's a perfect match for this. Almost has a LoL feel to it with the graphics and the voice of the announcer.

EDIT: You do fight more than 2 enemies at once... Just made it to "Act 2" and fought 4 at once for a whirling 360 degree intense melee...

The protagonist in this game is living a more interesting life than I am right now due to the coronavirus quarantine.

Been playing this game since the first days of EA and now with the campaign mode here it's an absolutely more wonderful and rewarding experience. Ignore the haters and beta-cucking soyboys who whine about the difficulty. You want a game that's devious enough to stab you in the back and then kick you in the nuts when you are down on the ground? Play this game. If you want to be handheld and told you are a special little snowflake and make you feel like you are a pro gamer, then go play Fortnite. I love this game.
