yea I almost never give reviews for games but this one threw me for a loop. I played it on & after release, had fun through all the bugs and crashing. played with a decent amount of mods too that I carefully curated to make extremely stable. eventually I got bored though and just straight frustrated, particularly with the overall war system. installed the game again yesterday and started playing the 1.5 update, scrapped most of my mods except a couple minor ones (because frankly this game needs them to be at all mildly interesting to play). Was excited with the new changes. Was met with an absolute mess. My armies couldn't find pathing on multiple occasions, saves CONSTANTLY being corrupted, plenty of crashing, and above all, the game is still frankly brainless. I'm a big fan of econ sims, and I want this game to deliver and fill that niche, but rn and after a full year of basically damage-control via updates, this ain't it.

I think Elon should take a few pointers from this game...

I understand why people have hate for this game. Three reasons being
1. It's buggy,
2. It's Repetitive,
3. And it's lack of diversity in an exploration based game.
However, this game has only just been released, and Hello Games have stated that they will continually update No Man's Sky. For instance, they've stated that the next update will consist of Base-building and Pilotable frigates. Currently, the game is only fun to play in short bursts, but eventually, when there's more that can be done, this game will become excedingly fun to play for longer periods of time.

Overall, in the game's current state, I would not recommend it to those easily bored by repetitiveness, but once this game undergoes a few more updates and more content has been added, I would highly recommend it to everyone.
