The first mission was really cool and fun, but I immediately started to lose interest in the second, and couldn't get through the third after learning most of the rest of the game was going to be the same gameplay. They have "open-fire" missions that drop you into a section of a Warzone map with very little context as to what is going on, then send you to do generic objectives (blow this up, get that, etc.) while you're essentially building a loadout on the fly by looting weapon crates, throwables, armor, etc.

It's basically just playing Warzone offline while the characters you would normally be doing a mission with are off-screen telling you whether or not the enemies are alerted to your presence. The missions feel like they should have been a revival of Spec Ops from the original MW, if anything. It's a huge letdown of a campaign after the first two remakes with an outrageous price tag.

This is easily one of the greatest games I have had the pleasure of playing with my friends, and it's clear that the team at Arrowhead is deeply passionate about it and its fanbase.

Now that Sony has reversed its decision to enforce PSN account linking, I can go back to recommending this game to anyone who will listen.

This is what we fight for, Helldivers. This is Democracy Manifest.

Very fun and extremely funny. Much more worthwhile if it was $60 instead of $70-100.

The game gets better and better with each update and is a perfect game to play with friends, I only wish it had more intuitive conversation mechanics when in multiplayer so everyone has a chance to be involved, kind of like the Star Wars: The Old Republic social system. Can't wait for the full release!

I put off getting this game for a long time, but I finally got it last week and am very happy with my decision. My only real complaint is that the main story doesn't go on longer. (Spoilers) it feels like they leave it set up either to be continued in DLC/expansions or an entire sequel. There's still the matter of Istvan, reclaiming your father's sword, and seeking vengeance on the man that killed your parents.
This is an amazing and immersive game, and I would recommend it to anyone interested even slightly in getting the game. There's a strong sense of progression and you can tell when you are getting better and improving your skills.
There are bugs here and there, but I haven't experienced anything that really broke the game beyond maybe having to reload my last save or restart the game (i.e. I was sparring with Bernard and he sunk into the ground). A funny bug I came across is that I was woken up near the end of my rest by a guard who was trying to arrest me for not having a light (torch) at night.

In Conclusion/TL;DR: If you are at all interested, by this game. Especially now while it's on sale (as of 10/28/18). I hope they continue the (main) story either through DLC/expansions or a sequel as there do seem to be some loose ends, and they kind of set it up as less of a "The End" and more of a "To Be Continued..." and I hope they continue to make more DLC in general, such as their Hans Capon and From the Ashes DLCs.

A fun little addition to the game and some more quality time with Hans. I recommend it if you want more content and/or like Hans and his relationship with Henry.
It depends on the person, but I'm not sure it's necessarily worth $10 seeing as how short the questline actually is, but if you're dying for more to do in KCD, this is a good addition.

It's pretty cheap and adds some nice treasure hunting while also giving a lot of groschen if you sell whatever isn't an upgrade. I wouldn't say it's essential at all, but it does provide I think the best helmet you can get and some other good pieces.
