Works well with a keyboard, plays excellent with a wheel and pedals and is a blast to sit back and relax.

Gameplay: 9/10
It's simple, you start with a 1 truck garage and you take jobs for other truck companies. The trucks are fairly simple/easy to drive. You do jobs till you have enough to buy a truck (or you can take a loan), then you buy another truck and another. Then you hire drivers, level them up with every job(s) they take, suddenly you start earning millions. Fun and enjoyable, works fine with a keyboard and runs excellent with a wheel and pedal.

Map: 8.5/10
While vanilla is fairly small in comparision to the full map with paid DLC's, it's still very good in my opinion in order to get a feel of the overall map. Germany and the vast autobahn's are a pleasure to drive in. The UK is also nice and allows for more speed. I highly recommended you get at least the France, Italy, Going East and Baltics DLC as they make the map far bigger and far better.

The Loop: 8/10
In the early game it can feel a bit slow and maybe taking a loan can help speed the game up as it generally gets WAY better in the mid-late game when you start your trucking empire with garages in every country and skilled drivers delivering long hauls. It is very satisfying in my case to sleep a night and wake up with almost a million in profits in my bank. My only gripe is you can't see your drivers driving in-game which is a shame but it's not the end of the world. I generally come back to the game to relax and have a small break.

Graphics: 7/10
The graphics are the only weakest part of this game. While they ain't horribly bad by any terms, they ain't the best in comparison to other driving games. Now they have been upgraded and enhanced over the years and honestly I don't dislike them, I honestly think they are pretty good for a game that's now 11 years old!

Overall: 8.5

Wheel and Pedals: Logitech G923
