This game is in my opinion the only true multiplayer horror game.

I have played this game for so long in one session that my eyes physically hurt.

I made a steam account specifically to get this game.

The fact that having over 100 hours in this game is generally considered as not really that much is a testament to how good it really is, and at 3 pounds this is easily one of the best purchases you will make as a Civ fan.

Grab a friend and this game will give you tens of hours of fun, definitely worth the money, even without a discount.

HOWEVER:
If you already own Dead island, wait until a sale before getting this. It isn't really different to the original other than some graphical changes (and chrome blood), so don't buy this at full price if you are looking for another playthrough of the original, it's not much different.

If you can get a Guitar Hero controller working for this game, it becomes a great throwback to the days of PS2 rhythm gaming, with a chiptune twist. Also, online leaderboards and workshop support. This pretty much makes Chiptune Champion the best alternative to Guitar Hero on Steam.

However, it would be nice for the developers to add leaderboard support for Workshop songs, because there's only so much fun to be had with the leaderboards for the default songs.

Overall, a great rhythm game.
