I have put more hours than I would like to admit into this game and still continue to pump hours into it. It might not always run the best, but what sanbox/simulator game really does? If you're new to the franchise I recommend looking for a group or unit through the games community system to help get you started, It's a lot more fun when you gota team to roll with rather than going solo.
