VR makes the game infinitely more fun

It's great.

it isn't really my sort of thing, it's a cool game but I feel that it is ruined by the vile community this game has frankly. The best aspect of the game is probably the music but the battle style is a bit confusing to get used to.

The game is totally immersive and there are endless things you can do. The character creation allows for a good amount of detail too, and there is an excellent modding community for which you can expand your game. The only issue is deciding whether you should get this version or the new special edition, which is why I've got both.

Creative game mechanics, really cool and unique idea, and a seriously good game, but can be very difficult. 8/10

What I love
- The modern F1 stuff
The good parts are the new features, including more detailed upgrading and more parts of your car to be concerned about, such as the engine primarily. They added more objectives in practice which is good of course. The AI is immensly improved from last year and makes AI races much more exciting!

What I hate
-Graphics don't like they have improved much from last year, maybe more grass, I can't tell...
-Background blur looks ♥♥♥♥
-The game stutters and freezes a LOT, even with my hardcore PC
-The classic F1 stuff

I am very annoyed how they could have driver names of past drivers such as Alain Prost or Nigel Mansell or something in F1 2013, but cannot show the driver names for classic F1 now, such as Ayrton Senna. Instead, they use fake ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ driver names.
Also, there is not much fair racing as there are not enough cars for classic F1 anyway. The time periods stray off from 1988 up to the 1990s and 2000s. They should have had a similar style as in F1 2013.
This and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ names completely ruin the classic F1 for me. At least the career is good...
EDIT: Yeah yeah I know they may not have licenses for the Drivers themselves but ♥♥♥♥ it they could've gone the extra mile when getting ahold of the phenomemal cars chosen for this game

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Sorry I didn't include the good parts when I first wrote the review, I was just so annoyed they could not include the basic feature of representing one's favorite racing driver of the past (This was my favorite feature of F1 2013, guys)

It's a decent RPG i guess \m/

In short, I would give this game probably an 8/10 if my opinion actually mattered.

In long, compared to it's predeccessors the game
1. has more enjoyable and better feeling driving physics (in my opinion, which doesn't matter because who cares frankly)
2. has AI that seem maybe a bit better
3. A bit easier than previous installments I feel, like F1 2012 was really very hard
- this may come down to how you had to build your way up in games like F1 2012 and 2013 in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teams like HRT or something but in F1 2016 you can start where you want, in say a competitive car and team.
4. Graphics are better
5. is a bit tougher to run, at 4k ultra settings with my beast Nvidia GTX 1080Ti the game does slow down a little bit in cutscenes
6. could really use F1 cars of the past, such as 80's and 90's, such as those in f1 2013.
- Past cars are coming in F1 2017 (Woo!)


So uh yea good game, would recommend, but perhaps wait for F1 2017 unless you've already gotten it by now.

Assetto Corsa has several issues.

1. The AI will crash into you without any hesitation and as if they don't even know you are there
2. The keyboard controls are the worst I've ever seen
3. Not many interesting cars
4. Main menu looks horrible. I understand Assetto Corsa is focused on driving, but the xbox version has a much better looking menu.
5. I don't know where the penalty system is from, but it certainly is not from Formula 1 or any other motorsport I've watched.

The graphics certainly aren't bad, but are mediocre when compared to other simulators of this genre.
I find that this game is absolutely not worth the $30-$50 when you can buy Project Cars for the same price. Project Cars is better in most aspects. Of course, Project Cars has issues itself, but they are generally not this crucial.

Therefore, for the time being, your money would be better spent on Project Cars than Assetto Corsa. Better yet, you could wait for Forza 7, which will certainly be very good considering it's predecessors.

In short, there are much better options than Assetto Corsa right now for the price as it has many flaws and everything it does well, other simulators do better for the same price.

For $2.49 this game is really fun and great value. I highly recommend to purchase this game, it's really addictive and the graphics are really well done.
