Above all: get the Deluxe or core version of this game. DLCs are shared, so you'll have access to all additional weapons quite frequently, depending on your teammates. Some DLC weaponry is fun to use but none of it is necessary to win any maps/ games.

This game has:
-gore
-brutal, unforgiving atmosphere
-music is metal af
-the guns feel incredibly well made
BUT tons of maps and weapons have been added that feel cheap and goofy, plus cosmetics kinda ruin the atmosphere now. Still a fun game though, no doubt. It's just that the recent stuff does not meet the quality standards of the original content.

As you can see I played the game a little. Go get it, it's great value for money compared to a 60$ AAA game, regarding the standards of the year this came out. I think it has aged alright. Swallows disk space like a sarlacc.
