Motörhead - a British band was formed in 1975 on the initiative of bassist and vocalist Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, who remained with him. The group was commercially successful in the 1980s, as well as its albums Overkill, Bomber and Ace of Spades. They became an inspiration for many performers from the heavy metal trend. Kilmister, despite the categorization in the genres of thrash and speed metal, on whose development he influenced, he described Motörhead's music as rock 'n' roll.
