I felt like the game was good and then all of a sudden I hit a brick wall and it wasn't fun...Haven't played this game in a minute...

Q3 is a classic, groundbreaking arena shooter. An OG of golden era eSports.

Current online player base/community is dead tho.

Q3 still looks and plays great, but most people have simply moved on.

I wanted to update my review because it looks like they combined DOOM 1 and 2 into this product (and added and organized some more stuff), which I think is a fantastic move.

DOOM 1 and 2 r essentially the same "style". This move allows players to enjoy more OG DOOM and makes all the extra DOOM mods and wads more accessible.

I'm happy because I now got DOOM 2 for free with my original DOOM 1 purchase, but I do feel a combined DOOM 1 and 2 product for $10 is a bit much. OG DOOM is basically an ancient game at this point. On sale for $5 or $1 would b much more reasonable imho.

+I do like the Steam achievements tho :)

This is probably the Quake multiplayer u want to play.

Boot it up, join a server, and ur off and running and gunning all in less than a minute.

Gameplay feels great but game has a very limited player base.

A little pricey, but FFX is truly a masterpiece.

I pretend FFX-2 doesn't exist.

Once upon a time, this game was a big deal.

Game went to sht tho...

Ruined by lack of surrender option, Peruvians, and convoluted, bloated gameplay....

Game graphics look stale and dated...

CS: Source has ALWAYS been in a weird spot. I get if u don't like it; I get if u like it; I get if u just grew up with it so it's all u know...etc.

The graphics in this game were smoother compared to 1.6...But the gameplay was meh? Not much of an improvement? It's in between CS 1.6 and CS2...both in terms of look and gameplay.

I think rightfully so CS: Source has the lowest player base, but I suppose, which CS u want to play really comes down to preference. CS: Source did miss some of the magic of OG CS 1.6, but Source looks and plays fine. I think it just comes down to what u prefer.

This is Counter-Strike 1.6.

This is the one ur looking for. This was the last iteration of OG CS before CS: Source. Classic gameplay that still holds up great...Game is still alive and well and can run on most technology.

This was an easy swoop on one of the Steam sales when I was able to get this for $1.

Honestly cannot recommend this game. The fighting is great, the graphics are great, and I love playing as Joker...BUT:

-Online play is basically unplayable. Too much lag in a game that requires precise inputs...

-Vs AI/Computers in Towers of Times basically devolves into an items fest...

-The items in Towers of Time are truly stupid. I can't believe anyone thought it would be a good idea to design a game like this...Like some of these items are so lazy and ♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Some of the items or match features are literally ur screen turning COMPLETELY black MULTIPLE times...The latest holiday tower of time is literally a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ seizure fest of ADHD lights...Like, I understand the concept of a flashbang, but I literally cannot see what is going on in the game. Piss poor game design and honestly a bit disappointed by the creators.
