Not Worth to support this guy, played around wirh modcore for some time, game was so dead it was not even fun to play for more than 10 minutes. Supported since 2021, still this developer lashing out at everything and everyone. Had to unsub from his youtube due to drama.

Game has peaked 1 year ago with 1000 players total, other games have more players per minute. Numbers speak for themself. He prob say this review is bought aswell, i wish... 7 years and less than 500 daily players... Even Star Citizen has more players PER server now.

Game has been worked on for 7+ years and looks, play and behave worse than a Roblox war sim.

Edit * I wish i was paid to put a negative review as you state, you say i have only 10 minutes, but i bought the game to mod and play around in editor in Epic store. 10 minutes are on steam stable version. Game was still trash and hasnt changed much the last 3 years.

I recently ventured into the captivating world of Enshrouded, and I can confidently say that this game has exceeded my expectations. I am already hooked and plan to spend countless more hours exploring its vast landscapes with friends.

Enshrouded has drawn comparisons to Valheim, and I must say, it feels like Valheim on steroids. The vast, open world is teeming with life and mystery, encouraging exploration at every turn. The beautiful graphics enhance the immersive experience, bringing the fantastical landscapes to life.

In summary, I'm thoroughly impressed with Enshrouded. TLDR : Good game, Good building mechanics , detailed building, alot of skills and class types, fluid movement and Good graphics. Well worth the money!

Thinking about buying DU? Ive played in Alpha and Beta. Nothing changed for full release. (Except the 50% in monthly sub price a week before launch)

Pros

* Very detailed voxel building
* Everyone plays on 1 shared server
* Fly mechanics are OK.
* Ingame Lua Scripting
* Devs claim game can hold 1 000 000 players. (Don't think we surpassed 15 000 players at the same time online).

Cons

* Monthly Sub 15$ or 120$ yearly or so.
* Game runs extremely un-optimized
* Game has never seen a huge player count
* Everything is player created
* No AI - No NPC
* Very bad LOD / Chunk loading of map / objects / levels
* More than 20 players on a same location with constructs / ships etc and the game runs poorly
* Very little gameplaye loops ( Mining - building - trading - pvp and missions )
* No survival elements (Food , thirst, health , falldamage , oxygen etc)
* No Player customisation other than color change
* Terrain sometimes glitches and look terrible (Voxel errors)
* The initial CEO from 2011 left the project , now it feels like they want to cash in before investors get mad
* Very clunky UI / HUD
* PVP is boring and require little to no skill.
* Game has been in developement for ages and still feels like an alpha.
* Unless you are on discord or official forum , dont expect much communication from the devs
* Xsolla is payment handler( They have been known to be hard to deal with in the past in other games )
* EQU8 Anti cheat... It is terrible and should have rather gone for more modern and up to date anti cheats like EAC.
* No linux support
* No mod support
* Very dated looking game
* Water has no physics since servers cant handle that
* Ships have minimal physic destruction since servers can barely handle that.
* Mining only by hand and is terrible made.
* Flattening ground makes rocks "Rain" all around you and looks really bad.
* The day you stop paying - You lose access to game and everything you built. Like you never owned the game.

No modding killed this game, NEOS it is!

Cool game at a good price, fun and scary in VR / Regular

Good potential, sadly Xbox has put its restraints on it with Xbox login that works sometimes. Cant find friends servers at times. I know is early alpha but at that price game should be less buggy.

A Early Access title that works! Plays great and fun with a friend or more

Pros

- Ok graphics
- Ok menus
- Great singelplayer game.

Cons

- Sliding buggy zombies
- Coop isnt really coop, most of the loot is locked for the server hoster only, only server host can Claim new areas,
- Crappy loot system
- Cant walk far away from eachother so if host moves 200m away you get teleported to host.
- Zombies are buggy / laggy / dont sync similar to both players
-Sync is somewhat broken, i can see cars and bushes other people cant see.

Amazing game! Devs keep adding new stuff all year round. Especially fun with mods that make the game alot harder!
