A video game ass video game. As fun as it was 18 years ago.

A little bit easier than the original release. Partially due to the terrible survivor AI being fixed up, partially due to other changes, like quicker xp gain and an autosave feature.

Voice acting's a little on the rough side. Sometimes it's alright. Sometimes you really wish you were listening to the original dub.

Still, at its core, Dead Rising is Dead Rising.

(I wish they'd added Co-Op for this one, since it's still my favorite in the series, but, I get why they didn't.)

terrible as a remake considering atlus/sega think remaking a game without all of the previous versions contents and releasing it for 70 dollars is cool

or 105 dollars if you want the answer as well

and if you want femc you can just get stuffed

so yeah if you have 105 dollars to waste you can get slightly more content than a 2007 version of a 2006 game, but you'll still be missing content from the 2009 version of the 2006 game.

still no definitive version of that 2006 game 18 years later. thanks atlus.

A pretty good survival horror game, that unfortunately ends up feeling much too derivative for my tastes in the latter half of the game.

If you like silent hill and resident evil, give it a try.

If you've played much silent hill, you might find some things very similar between that franchise and this game.

If that's something that bothers you, I wouldn't recommend playing it.

Still plenty of originality, just wish it spread its wings more, rather than looking back at what inspired the genre and copying notes.
