Love the game especially that cripto miner running in the background I love feeling extrorted very plesent experience the game is very balanced example minigun with 500 bullets against deagle with 10 dmg. IF you want the best experience smoke some crack to escape the graphics from 2001 Cs had better. chinese spys probably use this game to get data which i just love.

Early Access Review
Dinkum seems to be what would happen if Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley gave each other a very special hug down in Australia.
After playing it for a few hours, I decided to try to convince my friends to buy in and was successful. We have 3 different islands that are community projects as well as a few of us having our own islands that we work on as well.

**The Pros:**
1 - Fun with friends! Up to 4 people can be on one island at once, working to gather materials, craft and make money.
2 - Imagine the possibilities! The town is yours to build. You decide where to put the different buildings and where to make your fields, what crops to plant, what sort of fencing, lights and paths to craft. It is all up to you!
3 - The pets! You can have Chooks (chickens), Vombats (big lovable things you milk), Pleeps (wooly platypuses) and if you can score a doggo collar, you can turn a Diggo into a Doggo and pet it too! There are also Mus (emus) that you can find a saddle for and ride. But be sure to be wary of the Wary Mu, that one'll try to kick you to death and doesn't take a saddle
4 - Crafting! You can craft to your heart's content. When you run out of crafting mats, you can simply go and harvest more and start crafting again.
5 - Discovery! There are dozens of fish and insects and critters to find out there that you can bring back to the museum.
6 - There are so many ways to have fun in Dinkum that you will find yourself losing track of time

**The Cons** (this part is tough, but no game is perfect)
1 - Sometimes, it's hard to remember that this is currently Early Access. Eventually, you run out of fish and bugs and critters to find and you have gallons of money from hustling hard core for a few seasons and you find that there is not much to do anymore. I'm pretty sure that the museum stuff will expand more as time goes by and the game becomes more fleshed out. Eventually, we will still run out of stuff to find, it'll just take longer.
2 - Feast or Famine - When you are hammering the island life hard core, sometimes, you run out of resources. You've mined all of the nodes up top, can't handle the deep mine yet and you still need 5 more copper bars. In the beginning of the game, it feels like the node respawns take forever. They don't, it just feels that way. Then, you decide to fish as you await the arrival of more ore rocks. Then you realize how much money is in fishing and you start fishing all day, every day. Then you remember those 5 copper bars you needed and you reluctantly put down your fishing pole and search for some rocks, only to find so many that you have to keep a pocket full of energy food to grab it all. Then you think you're good on ore for a long time and then...you just need 5 more bars.
3 - Carnivore Unions - I've noticed that many times, the more aggressive animals (Sharks, Crocos, Bush Devils and Wary Mu) seem to spawn in packs. For some, like the Bush Devil and Wary Mu, there are certain identifiable spawn points and it makes sense there, but 5 Sharks, all chilling right next to a pearl? 4 Crocos all guarding that bridge you built? Sometimes, they travel alone, but it seems like more often than not, it is packs of 3 or more, which can be daunting when you are playing solo and are not great at the combat thing.
4 - The Mines - This is more of an endgame thing, but there are entirely too many bats in the mine sometimes. I mean, a single trip can drain 2 bat zappers, even when you are also clobbering them with a weapon. Also, there are sometimes unions down there as well, and the creatures are harder by design and it can make it more than just a challenge for anyone who prefers solo play. The and the new section, the Undergrove, the risk vs reward is just not quite dialed in yet IMO. Constant poisoning, grubs coming for you, nests of grubs to find, using 3 keys to get to one, single chest that has one contraption and a nearly broken spear. We have had quite a few chests be total letdowns in the Undergrove, especially given what we went through to get to them.

Overall, this has been one of the best game purchases I have ever made on any platform. The Dev actually listens to feedback and a community has been built on the Discord that is pretty great. It is well worth the full price of the game and 10/10, if I had it to do again, I would buy it all over again.

If you're looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place.

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup water

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1 pinch salt

5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced

1 pastry for double-crust pie

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside.

Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices.

Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal.

Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake until the crust is golden brown, the caramel on the top crust is set, and the apple filling is bubbling, 35 to 40 more minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing.

The game is great.

I kindly wish to raise your awareness to people trying to cheat you out of your steam points: The following comment is copy and paste from a lot of reviews on steam. People do that to trick you into giving you steam points (the steam currency) by posting something to appeal to your human compassionate aspect thereby ripping you off because it is all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, lies and deceipt.

"I am a 52 year old father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my son, who is now 16. My son recently started Dinkum and in less than a week, he had already played for over 20 hours. This was terrible for me, as it was already hard enough for me to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching videos on Tiktok. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, did the tutorial but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought my son and I closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories."
