Amazing game. Very in depth, easy to approach but very difficult to master. I have played for over 2000 hours and have accumulated 15 permadeath Normal difficulty wins on 15 different classes at the time of writing. There are a lot of ways to play this game.

Prepare to die. A lot. But dying a lot teaches you the game mechanics; you can review the game turns to see how you were killed and figure out how to prepare for situations that have killed you.

I've found the downfall of most people I've talked to for their characters is playing too fast. It can be difficult to pull yourself back off the Auto-Explore and not roll your face across your keyboard when you've been doing well.
