REVISED 12/12/2024 BI increased the price to $39.99 prior to Christmas. This is a tactic used by several developers. There is no merit for the increase so this move is simply to pad the Christmas Sale and flux of PS5 purchases. This game is not worth $40 now and it will never be.

Obviously a test platform for the Enfusion Engine and a gateway to ARMA 4, and has improved so much since it released as Early Access, that it is a viable standalone game.

You will see people complaining about many aspects of this game, most of them are those that play on Official Servers. Our group plays on a dedicated server that we created. The problems people are having seem to relate to the Official Servers and the number of players since we do not experience any game breaking issues as described by these other players.

We play on our own dedicated server and there are only 4 of us. Our server will run 24/7 and we play a few hours each day, returning to take up where we left off. There are still some issues like vehicles not being there that were when we left, and custom load outs not available on return so you have to recreate. Not a big deal. We have completed Everon Conflict many times, usually taking 4 to 5 days with over 12 hours total game time.

Its not perfect, but it is getting there. Still, in its current state, we choose to play Reforger Conflict over playing our typical ARMA 3 Escape. Our only real complaint is that the Enemy AI do not take over bases once you capture them, so you can basically leave a captured base unattended. Hopefully this gets addressed soon because that will add a whole new element and extended game time.

If considering this game, use Steams 2 hour buy and try. The training mission will show you. It can be completed in less than two hours and will give you a good idea of the mechanics. Online play is something you will have to test if you have time left.
