Consider this a full-price "early access" game. What's here is *incredibly* good and 100% faithful to stalker as a whole, it just has quite a few technical and performance issues that still need ironing out, which might be a deal breaker depending on your tolerance to stuff like that.

It doesn't get better later in the game, in fact, it becomes worse, the moment your attempts at "exploration" in this boring, sterile universe, that has nothing interesting to tell you narratively, take you to a dungeon you've been in before. Same exact layout, same exact loot in the same exact places, with the same exact logs and notes, just on a green tinted planet this time.
It is a core issue with the game, that mods won't be able to salvage it, in my honest opinion.

Is it a good game? Yeah
Is it worth $30? Probably not, no.
Was it worth the wait? Not really...
