I am a big fan of the Pixel Pulps by now, they just keep getting better each time. The narrative, the visuals, and just a vibe to die for.

I'll start by saying that am not a big fan of the minigames in general and here is no exception, they are short, easy to beat and the art style is a delight. I also really like the main mechanic of typing the reports that get you deeper and deeper into the game's world. I got a bit confused at first, because I kept retyping the character I missed, but then I understood that you had to move forward when you made a mistake. After that it was blast. The endings, the mood, the style, it all worked form. All in all, this a great experience and criminally undervalued at zero!

The game's description makes a good job to tell you what to expect and by the screenshots and trailer you can see how beautiful it is, so if that sounds good to you, go right ahead and play it. It's game that doesn't waste your time, it's full of charm and dark humor. Thumbs up!

I came here after reading this amazing review from Eurogamer...

Bahnsen Knights is magic in general, whether it's the plot that is so light-handed at pencilling in its themes, leaving the player to do the crucial part of writing that ties the narrative together, to the way that the action finds interesting gaps for you, whether you're manoeuvring a car on a busy road or realising that you have run out of interesting things to say to a vital contact, or whether you're using a Tarot Card system to organise the case you're making against the enemies who you've had to pretend to be pals with. It takes you deep. I emerged from it all in a daze, and then I went straight back in to see what else was contained within its space.

... and a 100% agree. An incredible game. Long live the Pixel Pulps!

For a while now we've seen many roguelikes that don't care if you "break" the game, if you get too OP or if it gets impossibly difficult. This is the first time that I've seen this idea applied to a puzzle game. And it works wonderfully. Genius.

I'll update this review when I finish the game but I just wanted to state how much I am enjoying it. The writing, the art, the overall mood of the game, it's an amazing experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

A beautiful, elegant and brilliant game. It doesn't waste your time, opens a world of possibilities and can be played by anyone. It's a game I'd recommend to all my friends and family, no matter their age, game literacy or background.

Fun, byte-sized shooter (pun intended) with some clever ideas. Thumbs up.
