Pros: + Stunning Visuals especially in 4K it has plenty of options and one which I really enjoy is the nvidia Turf effect. The lighting and vegetation in game truly captured my attention. Especially with how reactive the vegetation is when you come into contact with it. Alongside great visuals the game also has great performance (Am I allowed to say this since I play on a monstrous machine?), I was able to easily maintain 60 fps on 4K by adjusting some settings starting with the very high preset. I lowered shadows, hbao, and disabled AA (Anti aliasing is hardly noticeable on 4K anyways) One exciting thing about this game is that for CPU tasks it does a fine job at balancing the cpu load across your threads. I have payed very close attention and noticed that all 12 of my cpu threads are being utilized almost even by this game. Not many games are coded that well even these days and it only hits my cpu with 30-40% usage. If it wasn't coded this way it would likely cause my cpu to be a bottleneck, so congratulations Ubisoft.

+ The sound truly brings the whole atmosphere alive. Every firearm has pretty authentic sound effects and footsteps make different sounds when traveling across snow, mud, grass, asphault, etc.

+ I sit in absolute awe of the map size, this game is tremendous and it offers plenty of things for you to do. I haven't explored even a quarter of the map yet and am already baffled by the amount of terrain I've covered.

+ The skill tree and upgrades aren't egregiously overpowered. At no point have I felt like an absolute god while playing this. It is very easy to die if you don't use any tactics and the skill tree allows very slow and gradual improvement of your character, squad, and gadgets as well as being able to get upgrades to improve the rebel citizens in Bolivia. This allows you to be able to call upon them for assistance or simply arms them with better skills to assist you when they're just passing by. There's a variety of upgrades for all of the weapons as well as highly detailed skins. I must add that you customize your player when you begin the the game and there's a lot of customizations for clothing and accesories as well as greatly detailed color skins for some of the clothing

+ The gameplay is engaging and open ended you can do everything in any order you want, which makes it nice for hunting down guns and gun upgrades because you don't have the wait a multitude of hours to be able to access what you really want to use. They have incorporated bullet drop for sniping which is always a plus in my book. I enjoy getting used to a rifle and it makes it that much more satisfying when you make a long range kill shot. This and having an open world allows you to use your own tactics and approach every situation as you see fit. There is a feature wich allows you to mark targets for sychronized shooting with your comrades which allows you to take down 2 to 4 targets at a time in an instant so that you can maintain stealth. It is really staisfying when you take down a base without a single shot being fired at you. You can also mark targets in aim mode, with binoculars, and with a drone. Even in single player your team mates will mark any targets they come across as well.

+ The storyline is a huge plus for this game as well I've seen many complain that there's little backstory to the Ghost Recon team, however I find this appropriate given that they are essentially "ghosts." The storyline if you happened to read the plot or have already played the game some, is essentially about taking down the Bolivian drug cartel. You are in a 4 man team with the assignment of eradicating big time cartel bosses and key players. It sounds outlandish that 4 people could stop an entire cartel of drug criminals, but along the way you are assisting the civilian rebels by gathering supplies, freeing prisoners, and cleaning up provinces whilst turning over enemy bases. The more you help the rebels the more they help you and you can see them engaging in battle with the cartel frequently as well as with a third faction - UNIDAD. UNIDAD is the bolivian army and they practically turn a blind eye to the cartel and sometimes even downright assist them. There are missions where you must combat UNIDAD as well and typically there are weapons or weapon upgrades at UNIDAD bases. There is tons of intel to collect and plenty of people to interrogate which ultimately add background to the stoyline and it's very well done.

Cons: - The AI especially for your team mates in single player mode can be frustrating. On a few missions while inside a building there wasn't anything I could do to get them inside so that I could utilize the sync-shot. Luckily they teleported in after combat started and they teleport into your vehicle when you get in and drive away. They can be really stupid. The enemy AI is satisfactory considering the scale of the game, but I wish bodies didn't disappear and the game made you hide them to keep stealth when you have to.

- Driving in Wildlands is just... weird. The vehicles only seem to want to turn when you use the E-brake so you are constantly drifting everywhere.

- None of my friends can seem to afford this game. So I play solo. (Playing with random people is typically aggravating because I really enjoy stealth and tactics and the average person likes to blow your cover, and run n' gun pretending that they're playing COD)

Other Thoughts: I am absolutely thrilled that this is nothing like The Division. Not saying that The Division is bad, but I prefer this a lot. All the enemies aren't bullet sponges, there's not ridiculous rng weapon farm grinding and shooting someone in their unprotected head renders them dead. I like being able to have my assault rifle supressed on semi auto and carry a suppressed sniper for long shots and maintaing stealth. Both weapons are one shot kills almost every time. It was quite the breath of fresh air to see that this game made a solid attempt at being as realistic and previous Ghost Recon games, and I'm glad they didn't mess it up. It also brings me joy that you can only be revived once by a comrade per mission.

I'm not sure what people are complaining about. The game runs at 60+ fps at 4k for me. The only real issue for me is that you can't alt+tab back into the game.
So far the gameplay keeps me involved and it's been a great ride. I can see how it will probably become extremely repetitious in the near future though.

It's a fairly simple math game that is great for keeping your mind sharp. some of the puzzles take a little bit to figure out,

The addiction lasted far too long! I'm actually grateful that at about 556 unlocks on earth it's grinded to a near halt. I can just leave it and play other games now and the events let me go on a binge again every once in awhile.
