When everyone craps on modern triple a titles and says "they just don't make games like they used to anymore." THIS, Far Cry 3, is the game that they "don't make like they used to anymore." I grew up playing Black Ops 2, but most single player narrative titles from the early 2000's slipped by me. After playing far cry 3 in 2022 I can safely say after a decade this game's story manages to capture all of my attention and rap me into a story that makes me question all of my triple a title purchases from 2016 up. The characters give the world so much atmosphere and anticipation. Oh? And you will probably end up admiring the villain more then your actual friends. To sum it up I've been gaming all my life and recently i've been getting older and games are not as fun anymore. Before i go off to university I decided to play all the old gems i never got the chance to play. Far Cry 3 is at the top of my list....

sad they abandon this masterpiece for apex, a battle royale genre game that is just copy pasted from every other triple a studio.
