I put in 80 hours into this game on my switch, and when I couldn't bear the long loading screens, I swapped to my deck with minimal hitch. Bonus points that the cross progression lets me even go back to the switch if my deck's battery runs out. A DLC level work put into the game for free, CDPR really looks after their games(Now if only they let us enjoy W1/W2 on W3's engine).

Whilst the changes on the new gen updates are controversial to some, it felt natural enough to me that the moment I switched, I went back into the groove again. If only out-of-combat food healing/Gourmet skill was high enough, I hate that I have to use swallow to heal passively >:(

Whole-Heartedly recommended, I purchase Witcher 3 twice, and I'd not hesitate buying it again if CDPR continues supporting W3 like this. Know that you'll get your dollar's worth, if you don't feel as such, buy it in sales(it'll look good on your shelf if nothing else).

I spent 12 hours to mod it so it doesn't look like utter crap.

I still think it looks crap. But I love it to bits. Get it if you wanna see how Bethesda devolved from making award winning single player RPGs to award winning single player adventure games.

Short answer: The worst of the trilogy, but a formidable game nonetheless. Grab on sales.

Saw it for sale on the summer sale so thought hey why not. I've played this previously on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer, so it was kinda bittersweet going through this game again in max graphics, nostalgia hitting me differently. Lets just cut to the chase:

Pros
=====
- Great story.
- Ends the Sands of Time epic with a bang, trust me, if you haven't played this, you're missing out on a great story saga.
- Once you get accustomed to the controls, speed-running this game is pretty exhilarating.
- Great diversity in gameplay. If it's your first time, I'm pretty sure you'll not get bored until you finish the game.
- GREAT combat. If you are patient with it first, you have a myriad of ways to execute your enemies. See cons for my personal gripes.
- OPTIONAL fights: Almost all fights, you dictate. You don't wanna fight? Feel free to ignore the enemies. The game truly feels like it was meant to be experienced with as little fights as possible.
- Interactive Boss fights. Along with quick time events, it's pretty fun, and engaging.
- Stealth mechanics including quick kill thanks to the aforementioned quick time events, you can combo an enemy and kill them anywhere from 2 to 6 QTEs.

Cons
=====
- Graphics, unfortunately, didn't age well.
- PoP from Ubisoft has this awful thing with auto aim. Seems like the game was designed for controller usage, but it's pretty inconsistent in even that. I'd not touch Keyboard and mouse for this game with a 10 foot pole, was just not enjoyable at all.
- Speaking about controls, it's honestly a mess. Don't buy this if you're the kinda dude that rages when you die due to the game's fault. You'll die PLENTY in this game because of the auto aim screwing things up.
- Short-ish. I finish my first playthrough in about 6 hours. Replayed some areas just because I got acclimated to all the puzzles.
- At times you can get stuck because visual clarity in this game, esp for platforming, can be misleading.

I'd wish this game got remastered. Because it holds a soft corner in my heart, mostly because I'm a big fan of the franchise.

My personal rating: 4/10

Realizing this is my only real chance to ever visit Mars in this lifetime, the prospect saddens me.

I know the word is often abused, but this game right here is the definition to being underrated. It's fun to explore the vastness, realizing that you couldn't traverse to every entity in this game within a lifetime.

Unbelievably well optimized, it'll put most AAA titles to shame.

Thanks for making this your labor of love, Vlad.

Play in casual mode. Else you die and have to backtrack A LOT. Overall, the story, ambience and characters are worth investing time into, getting to know them. Get the game on a sale.

It's a game you get for it's open world nature. Graphics wise, it's nothing to write home about, but personally, I like the aesthetics, and the painted tiles/textures. There's only 4 classes, but they all have unique skills entirely. A lot of the interactions(fights) are dice rolls like the old school DnD games.

Overall, a great couch 2D isometric arpg that you can run on your microwave. Gives you the nostalgia of DnD.

Changing my review to not recommended. The game's still jank as it was day 1, and all the devs seem to be interested in is making inane events, instead of polishing on what they have, and fleshing out mechanics, perhaps rework the older, archaic classes. I spent an hour killing skeletons and gargoyle in a single place, no way I can, in good faith, recommend this to someone looking for a fun past-time mmo. The age of WOW is over, maybe if AQ3d was subjected to 90's standards.

The gear progression is so badly designed - that it'll be one of the banes, so is "arena" styled quests where you are required to first kill 5 of one type, then 5 of another - alternate upto 5 times total, then go up, and enable a beacon, then come down to turn in the question, then be tasked to go up to kill the boss, then come down all over again. It's so bad to the point I think Artix is deliberately mocking his game's fanbase - I could come up with a better quest sequence in under half an hour. Just what kind of people are behind these projects? If you want inspiration, go take a 2 month sabbatical, and play other games, Artix. Because the way the game's going, it's hit the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Overall, I spent good money buying guardian knowing full well what they had was great, and I'd have loved to see it grow. The game's so stagnated, that pulling it out of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's made for itself to lie down on is just impossible at this point. AQ3D shall die a slow, but utterly unceremonious death, because even the devs have utterly lost it, on who they wish to pander. And it deserves every bit of agony before it rolls up and dies.

Suffice to say: DO NOT spend money on this game.

Riven Simulator. 10/10, felt like a filthy riven player. Skill ceiling is way up there. If you're an adrenaline junkie, this game is for you.
