Fun game, beat it on Exterminatus and I can tell you it is not easy! Of course you could drop the difficulty a few notches it's a fun experience either way. Just good dumb fun.

why is this so addicting!?

Classic pc rpg in the vein of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 with lots of content, and fun side quests. Game has a bunch of funny moments as well, mostly doing side quests or when you read tomb stones lol

this game is neat, you go pew pew pew and they go pew pew pew then you die.

It started out rough when released free to play with major login issues but after about a week they seem pretty much fixed now and as someone who played way back when it first released it is MUCH better now. The game play feels smooth as hell and it's addicting. There are still some bugs but I haven't seen anything game breaking since the first week of f2p.

Where the hell are all these cheaters I was told about? Yet to encounter a single dude I can say for sure was cheating.

This game is WAY more relaxed Tarkov which is great. You can gear up pretty fast and get into a match pretty much instantly, which coming from Tarkov is absolutely amazing. The game is pretty well optimized and the shooting feels good, although the starter weapons lack a lot of power but later you find mods to increase the penetration or damage of the weapons or even make suppressors so you can kill quietly for any weapon. Having a 90 day wipe cycle is awesome cause even if you get behind the no lifers the start of the season will put you both back on equal footing instead of them coming at you with completely maxed ♥♥♥♥.

If I were the dev's I would continue to work on bug fixes and QOL improvements and then just push more content. Add more guns, armor modding, and more maps. Allow customization of your quarters and more stuff to build in them. Add more jobs so you aren't just cycling the same few. Maybe make seasonal alterations to the existing maps. Hell maybe they have planned for all of this, but i think if they just keep pushing content this game is going to go from good to absolutely amazing.

fun game, but kind of grindy towards the end. The broadside combat is a little weird at first but it grew on me there's a few different paths you can take to success in this game, but combat is ultimately needed to beat the story. You don't need to get to a dreadnaught to beat the game, but they sure are fun once you get them if not a bit slow. The story helps guide you into the game, but you really dont have to follow it past getting your jump drive.
