I completed this game back in 2018 on PS4. I bought it again on the PC because I bought it on PS4 for sale for like $20, which in retrospect was ridiculous. I knew nothing going into this game and was floored within the first hour. I won't ruin it for anyone, this game is completely original with the most outstanding combat I've ever experienced in a game. Easily my #1 game from 2010-2020.

[My review before and after playing demo beta version as well as released version]

The combat feels slick and stylish, movement is augmented by a cool parkour system and a grappling hook, and the team balancing, and character customization all mix together to allow you to make a playstyle of your own that’ll keep you coming back for more.
You can even make your own private battle royale matches, and there are a few other modes to play as well. Put simply, I’m excited to see what Naraka - Bladepoint can do, and I think it’s going to become one of my regular games once it’s out in the wild properly. It’s about time all the energy I spent studying the blade paid off, and having wiped out over a third of the combatants with my teammate in a match earlier, I’m starting to feel like this could be my forever battle royale.

This game is super fun to play with friends or even solo, unfortunately, it's not enough.

Hackers are seen too frequently in the game and it TOTALLY ruins the experience. It feels frustrating watching how a flying dude catches the crown every 2 or 3 matches.

On the other side we have the lag issues. It's not a big problem, but it's totally noticeable on the "grab-a-tail" modes. The other players catch your tail from too far, but you need to get super close to grab them.

I'll change my review when these problems get addressed properly, but in the current state, No

Hitboxes are very buggy, snipers are insanely underpowered.
They bumped up champions prices so peoples practicaly can't save up for them in in-game currency as casuals
champs are very unbalanced, there are some that are broken and some that aren't useful at all, there is also a lot of stuff to work on in ranked mode.
Apart from that the game is fun and compelling.

My first MH was in 2004, used to play a lot since forever and been playing this on my console from the first time its released in early 2018.
What can I tell about this?
If you are a fan of insane graphics and visual effects, challenging solo, duo or more players against some strong crazy annoying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lizards, dragons and enjoying stuff like theory-crafting, for example in World of Warcraft (maximizing every offense-defense points possible) yeah this is definetly best game for you, if not I'd say still one of the best.
I've played 1000+ hours on so far (accumulative from console and pc) and use different weapon styles to get rid of my boredom.
i can write down endless lines of how much I enjoy this game, but in the end YOU need to test it yourself.
There are so many different things to do which increases your hype to the game even more,
the thing I like the most, be a fashion-hunter XD
Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Since this version is a porting from console, it's likely not perfect to the extent I be crazy, also I'm not giving it a thumb down merely because of it. Atleast they are working so hard to make a better compatibility.

Overall this has my thumbs up, well done Capcom.

It was tough for me to hit the recommend button for this game, and there are basically only three reasons why I am recommending it.

1 : It does offer a lot of content. This has four normal sized campaigns with multi-linear rich stories, even if some of them have a couple of interlapping scenes, it will offer you plenty of hours of playing.

2 : Some good co-op friends this game can be extremely pleasing. People give these modern RE's a hard time because of the less survival horror, or the fact that they are co-op, but I think co-op is actually one of the series biggests strenghts now. In a world with very few co-op games, this game is a fun time if you have some good friends to play it with. I highly recommend playing on the higher difficulties to feel the extreme tense.

3 : It's the Resident Evil universe. It's more of an already cool universe with favorable monsters and enjoyable characters. Yeah it's not perfect but it's still more RE compared to RE7 HAHAHAHAHA.

Now what do I not like about this game? The controls take awhile to get used to, I don't know why, but they just feel more awkward than even the older titles. I think pair that with the extremely tight corridors in some of the campaigns and it just makes it feel extremely sloppy, play with joystick to have a better experience.

Whilst the stories aren't bad, I felt there wasn't a good protagonist on the level of Wesker. I did like Chris's target for the first half, but although there was build up it did not end the way you would expect.

Leon's story I felt had the most boring / easy monsters, as well as the least inspired easy boss fights. I feel like Chris's campaign was just better over all.

I think what disappointed me the most is that RE5( despite of its multiplayer issue) was basically a better game in every way. The only thing RE6 had going for it was length, but length is not important when RE5 just has more replay value. I think because I enjoyed RE5 so much more as a co-op game I will always just feel RE6 was one of the biggest let downs in the series.
Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed it enough to recommend it.

It could drive you to boredom state if you just play by yourself, I'd recommend this if you have a good co-op friends, atleast you could enjoy this to the extent you won't leave this so early like I did on the console.

8.5/10
