GOTY, where else can you have bear sex and have it make sense? A mix of the classic BG games from the late 1990s and Larian's Divine Divinity turn-based RPGs. Has it all from excellent graphics / music to in-depth storytelling and character development. Also, Speak with Animals is hilarious, I always have a potion of it enabled.

My biggest surprise of the year. Great plot and the characterizations are far better than their MCU counterparts. The combat is fun if a bit basic, reminds me of a more action oriented Mass Effect where you select teammate's skills to use. The big choices do matter as it can greatly alter different sections of the game, although it wont affect the ending. Had lots of fun and just started a new game + run to get everything I missed the first time through and make different choices.

Nice evolution of Yakuza. Took the Dragon Engine from Yakuza 6 and added more depth to it. Interesting bad guy/story and Kazuma Kiryu is still a blast to play. Not quite the depth of Y0 but still allot more to do than Kiwami 1. Only real complaints is the horrible DOF that can now be turned off after the patch and subpar AA options.

Fantastic game, the art is so great that I nominated it for the Steam The “Soul Of Vitruvius” Award. Very difficult game but still fair, you just have to keep trying until you master each boss.

One of the best adventure game experiences in VR. Great graphics, immersive world, some nice puzzles, loads of options for control scheme (experimental free locomotion options so you can move/strafe with joystick, just go into free movement options to set it up). This is the type of adventure game I hoped for when I first got VR and it delivered in spades. Can't wait for the final episode.

Pirate Velvet is best Velvet! Difficult to choose between this and Idolmaster outfits.... Also, I really like Eizen's and Eleanor's outfits, Arghh Matey.

Great story, fun gameplay although the missions can get repetitive. With the 60 FPS patch, it solved a huge issue, but the picture is way too blury. Used a Reshade addon to sharpen the image and correct the weird yellow tint + I turned down Reflections to Low and Volumetric light to medium (no noticeable visual difference but improved FPS by 10-20) and the game looks/run greats now.

More Deus Ex, in same vein as Human Revolution and that's a good thing! Performs great as long as you turn off MSAA and set contact shadows and volumetric lighting to ON instead of ultra - ignore bench mark utility and actually play the game, getting 56-75 fps on a 1070 at 2560x1440.

Horrible DLC, horse armor level bad. Automatron was a nice fun little DLC, while this one barely adds any content. You can get much more out of base building using mods on the Nexus.

Fun collection made even better if you own a Steam Controller - there are profiles for every game so it selects paddle mode automatically when needed (use clockwise, counterclockwise movement on pad). I forgot how poor Atari 2600 graphics were, but the arcade versions are still a blast to play/look nice, plus some of the Atari 2600 games are still very enjoyable like Yars Revenge and Adventure.
