Easily one of the best games released in the last year.
All betas having unique and enjoyable since before this game was even a hardcore survival looter shooter.
I will admit cheating is a problem but as anyone who plays FPS games this is a problem plaguing our communities - they do address this as a problem and at least they are not denying it. They are working on it and personally in my experience it has improved BUT not to be experienced without. It is even a bigger problem in the highest MMR "bucket" which is where I reside - while it is frustrating you experience this in all FPS games. The balancing of gear in the release version is however pathetic compared to the beta. High tier gear is not worth using almost no one uses higher than blue armor and even less of the exotic weapons. That is due to armor tuning causing high tier weapons to do essentially NO EXTRA damage to low tier armors. It is always better to use lower tier weapons. Game has been making a down turn in quality over time. 600+ hours including betas.

I played this game in Alpha and really enjoyed it then. So naturally giving early access a go and the reaction is the same. While there is a IMMENSE server instability at times and from what I hear there is currently ONE NA server location in Iowa? That is pretty awful lmaooo. There a lot of weird bugs I have experience mainly in the start of a match which seems to be pretty rough on the server initially. I think with heavy server improvements the game could see just a overall increased of enjoyment for everyone though it is early access so it can easily be solved. I am also severely worried about the research pay to win style of power / speeding up research. It has a very pay to win mobile feel to it. I hope this game does not need to resort to that to get money. If that was not an option it would definitely reward players to grind the research and materials. The final extract or way to "win" is kinda cringe as most players will sit outside and attempt to get in to "win." Weird attempt to force PVP probably would be better to just end like a regular BR without an extract that allows many winners. (tarik main here I mine the doors and have left players stuck outside when game ends)

Bugs I have seen; enemies immune to damage early in game for short period of time sometimes even regenerating HP, I have had teammates like "dc" but still playing the game thinking they are moving but actually frozen somewhere random, floating enemies, friends list / invites sometimes just not working

tl:dr; Game requires a ton of optimization, server(s) pretty sure 1 NA need more / better, final extract kinda gimicky, research probably will end up pay to win. Lots of random bugs seemingly tied to the start of the match.

Edit: I have seen a lot of the negative reviews that people are just dying because they play better people? You cannot possibly expect some type Skill Based Matchmaking fully developed in early access?

Edit 2: You cannot possibly be upset that a player can craft weapons you have access to IN GAME via drops or crates?? Also players with HIGHER TIER weapons are legit farming XP more efficiently in game to lvl up to also craft higher tier gear?? At this point most negative reviews are operating with zero game knowledge as per usual.

I have never written a review so I apologize in advance if this is garbage. So Battlerite is essentially very similar to Bloodline Champions for those of you that don't know - it is a fast paced (2min rounds - first to 3 round wins are the winners) game. Very basic 2v2 or 3v3 arena based game. In general the game is very simple with mechanics and controls, however, there is a high skill cap. Currently about 7 people are the max rank of 15 or 5500 rating. There are 16? Heroes to choose from being melee, ranged, or support based. Now I am rank 11 so between 3000-3500 rating which seems to be slightly above average. I have yet to notice heroes that couldn't succeed - yes obviously there are heroes much harder to play thus making their success not so great but every hero has a place in average play. I have seen in the few 5k+ streams that they all tend to lean towards similar heroes but that is top tier players. TLDR; It is damn near BLC. High skill ceiling. Large viability among heroes. It is fun to play.

-$20 kinda feels like it should be on sale to encourage EA buyers
-It can be boring without friends sometimes / counter community is nice add people
-Will likely fill with toxic people when it release (most games do)
-Has microtransactions for cosmetic sh*t in chests (pls stahp)
