I still got the invalid steam appId error but there is a way to "sometimes" work around it, basically with the cloudflare software I'm able to play the game, sometimes.
There is times when it let me join other players, and there is times when I was not able to join any other player. (probably because I forced to use cloudflare to be able to play this game at the first place)
Anyway dispite this, the game is good and if you can I recommend a purchase.
