The puzzles are pretty solid, the story is pretty good, the art is excellent. I liked the world design and I liked the way that techniques were taught to you and then tested.
The gameplay elements are all present and accounted for and very well polished.

I have only a few complaints:
The lighter taking more than one click to light is a nice touch, but it can get irritating since it instantly disappears when you let go/partially release the trigger.

There should be an arizona sunshine style belt calibration for your tool belt. It was just slightly out of my reach.

Chains are a little awkward to maneuver because they have to fully slot over the teeth of both gears, but often only have the length to comfortably reach to the outside geometry of the mating gear. Maybe I was holding them wrong; it's very difficult to tell exactly where you're gripping an object.

Documents are just floppy enough to be difficult to read most of the time and the narration pauses when you release them to reposition them unless it's only very briefly(?) [going from hand to hand].

Long series of pipes have a tendancy to go nuclear if they touch a gear in a way that they can't simply bounce, or should they clip into a wall/physics prop. I found one on the spawning platform, which I think means it escaped the map.

Bought it and had one other person play it after me. About 3 hours of gameplay if you take the time to smell the roses with comeptent puzzles and good voice work. The last level [First Class] had some less than intuitive moments, otherwise excellent.

Probably my favorite game of 2018, and the best non-beat-saber game in VR at the moment.

Synergy is a mod that I'm really thankful for. It's good to go back and revisit the classics every few years with friends, and there's never been a bug that can't be overcome or an issue that can't be fixed. I'm a sucker for source games, and Synergy is one of the best that I've ever played.

Cons : Quantum Break has no sense of consistency, narratively or otherwise. The videos run at a different framerate to the gameplay, even locked to 30fps, and I want to stab every character introduced into the entire game. If that was the point, they succeeded with flying colors.
For some reason on my setup all the textures looked like they were melting.
Oh, and it's one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games that has 'low' aliased to 'medium'. Because they think they're clever.
In fact, Quantum Break is a product made entirely, as far as I can tell, by people who think that they're cleverer than they actually are. Maybe it gets better later on. Maybe I'll just watch a letsplay and spare myself the pain of figuring out what the hell is going on in real time.

Pros : The loading screen icons are nice, and all the stylings are fantastic. Their graphic designer(s) are the best part of the team by far.

It does everything that a shooter should do, and it does it well. The story is interesting, the gameplay is fun, the enemies with shields are a giant pain in the ass, and the environmental storytelling is excellent. Heavily inspired by bioshock, to the extent where it is basically bioshock through a tear from infinite. In fact, there's a man, a lighthouse, and a city... Huh.

Absolutely fantastic 2000s style management thing. Hard to imagine there's anything I could write here that hasn't been said.

Where do I start?
The sound is repetitive and horrible
The gameplay is on par with the very worst we could offer in 2005
The graphics are as above

I have 27 minutes of playtime, and I got stuck twice because the collision detection is so bad.
The art direction is pathetically trite. Nothing unique or clever about it, as near as I can tell. It's like a bad knock off of flyff. In fact, if you want to play a mediocre MMO from the far east, play Flyff instead, that way you'll only feel like you're living in 2006.
I can honestly say that normally a game can be so bad it's entertaining. With this, it's simply so bad that it's bad. It's genuinely complete garbage. I bought a $40 rice cooker that overheats when you cook rice with it and turns itself off. I am less disappointed in that than I am with this game, and I didn't even pay for it. It was literally not worth the time it took for me to download the 3.1 gigabytes that I can only assume was taken up by the intro cinematic, considering that all five assets in the game are used everywhere that I've seen. Genuinely, those 27 minutes are 27 minutes of my life that I will never get back, 27 minutes that I could have spent with a beloved family member, or maybe ate a nice lunch, took a bath or a long shower, built something, something, anything, other than waste it with this. I am 27 minutes older, and 27 minutes closer to death thanks to this game, and it's one of the few times in my life where I regret the time it took from my existence. May god have mercy on their souls.
