For me it was one of those "play once and never touch again" sorta games, which is kinda sad considering the hype that surrounded it.
But now I'm seeing the devs milking the game for every single penny with overpriced skins/season passes/DLC and I'm glad I dropped it.

Apparently people don't want to pay £25 for a good game?
Shame, really, they're missing out on something really fun. As far as I'm aware, the only things on the battle pass are cosmetics, and the only things purchasable in game are also cosmetic. As far as I can tell, people are just annoyed that it has the initial cost when they don't need to buy anything in-game, and are basically boycotting it because they're self-entitled bastards who want everything to be free and for there to be no way for the company behind it to make money.
I know microtransactions suck, but if it's purely cosmetic and won't affect the gameplay then what's the problem?

I've waited an entire year for this to be on steam, thanks to Epic exclusivity. And I'm not disappointed in the slightest. The wait was worth it.
It's rare I get into a game and feel stunned by the beauty of the surrounding scenery. The difficulty isn't so hard as to make you cry "what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥", but every time I got beaten by something, I knew it was because I had made a mistake and that it wasn't the game's fault. The random seamless co-op really surprised me too, one minute I was wandering about and the next minute I see a person who's beating up enemies, only to team up with him and run through several objectives together.
I think I only have two problems with the game. Firstly, the customisation, while interesting, seems limited in comparison to other games similar this (Dark Souls, Code Vein and such), but that's honestly pretty minor. The major problem I have with it is that you can't see the customisations of anyone who joins you. All companions who join through the seamless co-op function, whether AI or human, seem to look the same, other than carrying different weapons. I don't quite understand it and, especially when I first started, made me feel confused about if it was a player or an AI who had joined me.
Overall, though, it's a really pleasant experience so far, and I'm glad I got this game.

As much as I want to love this game, it's not completed. I'll just leave this here to explain why I think this game needs more work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwnJ_2uW7Zg

This game is brutal. You will die, a lot, and it will be unforgiving when it rips you apart over and over again.
But this is what makes Sekiro such a good game to play. Overcoming the challenges set before you is the entire reason this game is as difficult as it is: to make it all the more satisfying when you finally overcome that one challenging boss you've been struggling on or to find that one item you've so desperately needed.
To the people who say this game needs an easy mode, I say this: you gotta devote your time to the game, learn the mechanics, practice plenty and grind on enemies to get experience/money. You need to be determined enough to get back up over and over again to beat it, otherwise you may as well say that the game beat you instead.

It's fun with friends, but frustrating at times due to (at least in my case) constantly having to reinstall the entire game whenever there's an update and the fear of losing all my progress, which several friends of mine have had problems with. Honestly, I'm planning on waiting, and I'll come back to this game in a year or so to see if it's improved.

While a little floaty at times, the game is a lot of fun to play. A lot of variety between the different vehicles, some challenging and fun maps, and the satisfying visual effects all add up to help make this game a blast. It's a shame it didn't stand the test of time, or get more awareness, because it's so much fun.

Honestly, I dislike this game. Not only is the grinding for items completely unnecessarily long, as it takes literally hours to get the items you need, but the community is incredibly toxic in online games. New players are faced with the constant worry of being hunted down by people several levels above them who have guns and far more advanced equiment, which turns a game based on survival into a count-how-many-times-you-die simulator. It doesn't feel fun, and since it's not welcoming to new players, it's only a matter of time before the community dwindles down to nothing, in my opinion.

Also I had more fun playing this game on an empty server than I did with other people. This game could do with singleplayer and/or private lobbies.

I've noticed a lot of people complaining about the price for the hero. Sure, he's a little buggy here and there, but overall I quite like him.
The main thing about this is: it's too bad for those who didn't get him for free when it was on offer, it's your fault for not having him for free because you were just so slow.
The fact they even had the hero for free for ANY PERIOD OF TIME, to celebrate 5 YEARS of Dawn of War 2 (since people don't know why it changed prices either) shows that they do care about the community. THE ONLY REASON THEY ADDED THIS HERO WAS BECAUSE THEY LISTENED TO YOU, and now it's only £7, which is not a lot if you think about it, so quit your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥' and enjoy it.

Edit 1: And to those who complain he's OP: Necrons have always been so OP that it should be written in 40k lore. In my opinion, they got that right.
