Combat is very shallow, looks like souls-like on the surface but misses all the systems that give it nuance. This results in very repetitive encounters, almost every fight plays out the same. It doesn't help that most of a level consists of square rooms with the same couple of enemies in them.
With some more work in the combat and better level design / encounters it could have been enternaining.

I would say its largely an improvement over nioh 1, so if you like that definitely grab this one.

It suffers a bit from having many systems. Its a bit of an overload early on.

The game really shines when you get good with a weapon type that you have a bunch of skills unlocked for and you can really style on em.

Phenomenal game! The right middleground between realism and arcade. Can't wait for more content to come. What its already there is pretty good for the price.

The best 4X game ever made. Kinda sad there's nothing better than this.

Amazing game, there are very few real time tactical games and I'm happy that this ones is such a nice one, being a fan of the setting.

The best non-souls souls-like. Or rather sekiroborne-like.

Its Armored Core, baby!

Constantly crashes, mitigated with Radeon Chill limiting the FPS to 60. After that I can play without the amount of crashes I had, but still have some.
Technical issues aside, the game is fantastic. One of the few open world games where it pays to explore and doesnt feel like ubisoft busywork.

The classic. Sadly the remaster is a poor job, theres a mod to restore most of the armor textures which in my opinion were some of the worst affected. With that, its fine.
