Hi everyone my name is Gary Sadowsky!

I was born, and grew up in, the Twin Cities of Minnesota, where the blizzards rage in the winter and tornadoes twirl in the summer.

After years as a bicycle shop manager, I decided to pursue my true professional passion - the weather! I attended Lyndon State College in Lyndonville and received my B.S. degree in Meteorology.

I started at WCAX in 1992 as the weekend weathercaster. In 1995, I moved to 11:00 PM weekdays. And when the Channel 3 Early Morning News was launched in 1997, me being a natural "nightowl," I was chosen to begin everyone else's day with a smile and a forecast!

I enjoy spending time with my family and I am an avid bicyclist and runner. I have ridden ten "centuries" (100-mile bike rides), run four complete marathons and countless half-marathons.

I am soon going to be retiring in the next year after serving 30 years at WCAX as a meteorologist. One of my sons told me about this game, Counter-Strike, which I am now enjoying in my free-time. I hope to connect to some of the youth and inspire them to look into a carrier in meteorology!
