As a Doctor Who fan, it deeply saddens me to admit that I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this game.

The game consists of two main parts: the story section (comics) and the gameplay section. In the comics portion, both the story and the artwork are decent, although personal preferences may vary. Each episode's comics section lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The issue lies within the gameplay section. While the developers attempted to introduce innovative elements into the match-3 genre, it quickly becomes tediously repetitive. The first episode contains 51 "chapters," most of which consist of three game boards, resulting in nearly 150 levels. Completing them all took me around 8 hours, excluding the achievement hunting and skipping a couple of boards. Despite some levels offering minor variations and occasional challenges, the gameplay itself remains monotonous. It feels rather disrespectful to demand 8 hours of players' time for a mere 30 minutes of story in a lackluster gameplay experience. Moreover, the Steam platform is currently flooded with low-quality indie games, so introducing yet another one, even with a compelling story, seems unwise. I sincerely hope the developers find success by releasing this game on mobile platforms.

For me, games are a form of art—an intricate and multifaceted art form where gameplay, player choices, and interaction hold significant importance. And I firmly believe that the Doctor deserves a superior gaming experience.
