Recommended to me by a friend. One of the best games I have ever played, hands down. I love the graphics, and that's what initially stole my heart. Upon playing a bit more, I fell in love with many of the mechanics in the game.

First off, the spells.
I was a big fan of the idea of using "sigils" to cast spells. The fact that the library is only in your head really brought some immersion to the game.

Second, connecting to the first, the notebook/journal. I love the concept of having to write stuff down in game. Made it feel like an actual adventure. I enjoyed writing down some of the riddles, spells, ring effects, etc.

Lastly, the narration/art direction. I love surreal art and body horror, so this was fully up my alley. I loved the enemy design, the sound design, and especially the level design. Everything felt odd, in the best way possible. I especially love the design of the wax temple. I was absolutely stunned when I saw it for the first time.

I'm not sure if the devs plan on developing it further, but I hope that's the case. I absolutely love where it is now and I'm excited to be a part of the journey this game will embark on.

Absolutely dreadful. Making us pay for an update is one thing, but when the update is a downgrade that is just comical.

The game was incredibly enjoyable. The mechanics are interesting and a bit tricky to master, which kept the game from getting boring. It was very challenging, especially the first boss in the game which took me SO MANY TRIES TO BEAT...

In terms of plot, I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. I thought it is going to be a dumb shooter with hardly any plot, but it turned out to be very much interesting, especially with the last nautilus thing

The graphics were simple, keeping it running smoothly on weaker PCs, which is very much needed in a fast pace game like this. They reminded me of old games like Half life or doom, made me feel nostalgic, which in result made the game all the more of a pleasant experience.

A good game with a nice storyline. Not too hard, not too easy. Perfectly enjoyable.
